Familie Dupont was recommended to me by the owners of a local cider farm that I had toured earlier that day. A wonderful recommendation indeed!
I came in without an appointment on a Tuesday afternoon (I work in the hospitality and tasting room in Napa, CA so I knew the possibility of being turned away without an appointment) but I was still able to taste some cider and very old Calvados!
It was lovely to see family run distillery and to try a champagne style cider.

I am so glad I stopped by because they sell personal sized bottles of cider. And I was able to enjoy that together with some local cheese late that evening

Highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. Always try to call ahead of time still, I might have gotten lucky because I was just a single guest!

Je connaissais, je suis revenu, j'ai regoûté leur panel de produits autour de la pomme et j'ai décidé de mettre leurs produits a la carte des 2 restaurants parisiens.
Givre, pommeau, cidre triple, cremeux de pomme, etc.
Ravi de collaborer avec la Maison Dupont ! !

Très bonne visite et dégustation au domaine Dupont ! Grâce à notre guide, nous avons découvert tous les secrets de production du domaine. Les produits sont excellents et nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans ce lieu chargé d'histoire locale et familiale !

Dommage qu’en arrivant à 17:45 la personne qui a fini par arriver nous ait dit que c’était bientôt fermé (horaire indiqué sur le site :18h) et qu’on pouvait revenir demain. Elle aime pas les heures sup la dame ????

I can’t comment on the tours or the other experiences, but DuPont makes really high quality stuff - will be stopping by again the next time we’re in Normandy! The person serving us was friendly and very knowledgeable, and shared several samples with us. He was previously a sommelier in a 3-star Michelin restaurant! Their product was by far our favorite in the area.

Young calvados - elsewhere, this always came with an offering ethanol note, but that was not present in the DuPont product. Oak can’t hide any imperfections here, but there were very few, if any to show.

Medium and very old calvados - oily, smooth mouthfeel. Very pleasant French oak. Long finishes on both

Finished calvados (my favorite) - the 4 year old calvados finished in Lagavulin cask was phenomenal. So peaty and smoky, complemented by fruitiness from the calvados.

Ciders - wow! How did they add a caramel note to the finish? I had to pick a bottle up

Ich habe bei der Domaine Familial Louis DUPONT 142 Flaschen Bio-zertifizierten prickelnden Apfelsaft à 75 cl bestellt. Nach der ersten Probe war ich außerordentlich positiv überrascht über den fruchtigen Geschmack. Es war wirklich ein prickelndes Erlebnis. Der Kundenservice war ausgezeichnet und der Kauf verlief reibungslos, da mir der Kundenservice schnell und effektiv geholfen hat. Der Versand erfolgte per DHL und war sehr schnell von Frankreich nach Deutschland. Die Verpackung war sehr stabil, sodass alles unversehrt bei mir ankam. Ich war auch angenehm überrascht vom Preis und kann diese Firma uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Es gab auch keine Probleme mit der Sprache..

Un propriétaire et deux intervenantes vous réservent un accueil chaleureux.
Des démonstrations des dégustations et des produits innovants et de qualité.
Une boutique bien achalandée à des prix raisonnables.

We had a wonderful visit to Domaine Dupont! Set along the Route for Cidre, the 68 acres was easy to find as this was recommended by a youtuber.

Especially enjoyed our tour and tasting with Matthieu, who was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. He really did a great job helping us pick out a favorite and even provided us bubble wrap for our journey home.

We enjoyed all of the ciders and calvados that we tried — the quality was excellent. Took home the 20 year old calvados as a remembrance.

Visiting the distillery was certainly one of the highlights during our time in the Pays d’Auge!

Un accueil au top malgré l'affluence, dégustations intéressantes et instructive
Note spéciale pour le calvados en finition sur un whisky écossais d' Islay.
Vous pouvez pousser la porte pour la fraîcheur de la pomme ou la complexité des spiritueux.

Onze eerste stop op de cider route. Heel erg aan te bevelen. Erg vriendelijk ontvangst. Ontzettend mooie omgeving. Nadat we alles mochten proeven hebben we zelf nog flink nog ciders mee naar huis genomen. Ik hoop hier ooit terug te komen.

Excellent moment au domaine.
J'ai découvert grâce à Matthieu et au propriétaire des lieux un monde qui m'était totalement inconnu.
Leur passion et leurs connaissances m'ont fait perdre la notion du temps, je recommande vivement de faire un arrêt à cet endroit si vous êtes de passage dans le coin.
