L’une des adresses emblématiques pour séjourner à Lomé. L’hôtel est stratégiquement situé au bord de la lagune de Bê, tout près de l’aéroport de Lomé et à dix minutes du centre-ville. Le restaurant au bord de la piscine, sous une grande paillote et le bar Napo Beach, font de cet endroit un lieu convivial qui peut s’avérer festif surtout quand le patron, Gaston Napoléon, donne le tempo ! Les chambres sont propres, dotées de moustiquaires et le cadre arboré. Voilà un endroit qui a du charme. Possibilité de mettre en place une navette entre l’hôtel et l’aéroport.

The bar & restaurant area is also relaxing, lovely and shady which takes the edge of the heat too, and the food is Excellent! There's a wide variety of choice on the menu from Western to African cuisine and during my 2 months I tried everything! I was not disappointed once. You can also receive WIFI at the bar and reception areas, although if many people are using it it can be quite slow - but it is Africa!
Not only is the food excellent but so is the service, all the staff were very friendly, polite and unpretentious. I always felt welcome by them, and as I was a woman travelling on my own that makes a very big difference. My privacy was always respected, especially in terms of room cleaning (which was very different from any other hotel I've stayed in in Africa).
A special mention needs to be made about the Managers Lionel and Liselle - they were exceptionally welcoming. They always took the time to get to know each guest a little and to socialise a little with us in the evenings. They were so helpful in assisting me with issues that I had while in Togo that I think my journey would have been a lot harder without them.
I would very much recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Lomé - especially if you are staying for more than a few days, it really felt like home with all the benefits of a great hotel. I have been travelling for work for more than 10 years and Hotel Napoléon Lagune is in my top 3 hotels! (The other two are 5 star!).
