SIDI TOURS MAURITANIA

I traveled for 23 days in Mauritania in January/February 2022. I entrusted Sidi Tours Mauritania to make all the arrangements (car, accommodation, camping, driver and guide) and I could not have been any happier and more satisfied with the services I received. Sidi was very responsive from the minute I first contacted him (via email and WhatsApp) and promptly presented me with a tailor made itinerary after I told him about my interests. I was immediately able to tell that Sidi has been working in the travel industry for many years; he shows great passion for what he does and has a wealth of knowledge and experience. I had very specific interests in seeing the country, and nothing was too much for Sidi to arrange. I loved the great variety the trip offered which ranged from spending time with several nomad families, visiting UNESCO sites, riding the iron ore train, seeing the stunning countryside, and foremost meeting the most beautiful people. Sidi took the time to check in with me and the team accompanying me multiple times during my trip to inquire about my welfare and to find out if I needed anything which is extremely rare for a tour operator to do and was very much appreciated - it shows how deeply Sidi cares about the wellbeing and enjoyment of his clients. Sidi even checked in with me at the end of my trip to provide me with the opportunity to share my overall impressions, provide feedback and to wish me farewell – most tour operators stop their communication once the trip begins. The country is truly a hidden gem with something on offer for everyone. Sidi’s team was beyond amazing - hard working, very accommodating and had the greatest sense of humor anticipating my every need well in advance. The food was incredible – the team prepared elaborate meals that were whipped up from seemingly nothing in the middle of the desert. I very much enjoyed the great flexibility the itinerary left me with which allowed for some last-minute changes that were initiated by me – there were some unexpected and unplanned treasures to discover which I did not want to miss. I highly recommend Sidi Tours Mauritania without any hesitation. I will return for sure to do some more traveling with Sidi Tours in the near future!

We (me and my wife) did a 16 day journey with Sidi Tours that took us to the best of Mauritania's tourist sights. Every aspect of our trip was handled in a very professional way: proposal, booking conditions, payment, travel. We got far more than we ever expected and had a blast. Our crew (driver, cook, guide) took very well care of us and catered for all our needs. We felt safe at any time of our tour - especially also during times of Covid.

Unsere Fahrer und Guides waren total freundlich und zuvorkommend und vor allem: die Mahlzeiten, welche sie jeden Tag mitten in der Wüste gezaubert haben, waren fantastisch!
Ich kann die Reise wirklich jedem empfehlen und freue mich selbst auf ein Wiedersehen mit Mauretanien :)

We've been on an trip with Sidi Tours in September. We've been really happy with all arrangements, everything was perfectly prepared and the guys from Sidi Tours always give you the feeling of travelling with friends. You get company when you want and time for yourself whenever you need it. We just felt comfortable and safe all the time. Sidi Tours is arranging literally everything, just grab your sleeping bag and hop into the Pick-up -the rest will be done by your guides and drivers. Food was excellent, we could not believe what they created just in the middle of nowhere.
So for a desert trip in Mauretania those guys are your perfect company. We are travelling a lot and you have issues here and there. Not this time, everything was just great. Thank you guys for this great trip!

Nous avons choisi Sidi tours par l'intermédiaire de notre fille sur place.
Equipe au TOP. Guide et chauffeurs aux petits soins, l'humour en sus, programme et timing respectés. Même les dromadaires étaient sympas... Au programme : le Diawling, Tichitt, Tergit, Chinguetti, Ouaddane, l'oeil de l'Afrique, Benamira, Atar et retour sur NKT. Nous en avons pris plein les yeux.
Petite mention spéciale pour les crêpes et la soupe au mixer 12V...
