The rooms are small compared to the price. But tidy and clean. The reception service is exceptional. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, but not very close to the tourist attractions, nor the main train station. Though there is a bus stop close by. The luggage can be kept throughout the day, while checking out. Overall, I liked my stay here.

Jugendherberge leider sehr außerhalb und schon etwas heruntergekommen. Die Schließfächer ließen sich nur mit 2 CHF schließen und selbst das hat teilweise nicht funktioniert. Bei meinem Schloss ist der coin immer wieder rausgefallen, zur "Freude" meiner Zimmernachbarn. WiFi teils sehr schlechter Empfang auf den Zimmern, bei dem Preis hätte ich außerdem auch Vorhänge an den Betten erwartet. Das Essen war aber gut und das Personal nett.

I was unable to travel since I could not get my VISA on time. As a result I was offered 0 refund as I informed them 2 days in advance instead of 3 days. The 3 day refund option also costed me extra money.

I emailed them and eventually ended up called them.
My booking was for 5 days, totalling 723 CHF.
There was no refund on optional charges for food (which was about 19 CHF + tax daily). I could have just booked the food later.

I got something like 60 CHF (1 last day was booked separately and was inside 3 day refund option).

About their 0 cost insurance:
I was asked to contact the insurance company directly. The hostel has no business with the insurance company and just collects the money on their behalf. Also, the insurance company didn't cover anything.
Their insurance does not cover anything other than medical emergency.

This happened around 15 Sept 2023.

It was my first time staying in a hostel and it met my expectations. The employees are friendly and caring. I would especially like to thank the lady at the desk. There is internet and it is fast. The toilets have paper towels and toilet paper. There is no problem with the hostel. Your satisfaction is determined by the people you will stay in the room with.

This is not a youth hostel. Most of the guests were businessman and families. Breakfast was good and the price. You need to put the sheets on the bed and return them. If you are looking for a traditional hostel I wouldn’t recommend, but it was good for a night while waiting for a flight

The rooms are very clean and the amenities are well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. My flight arrived in the early morning, and the staff allowed me to check in early so I could rest. I appreciate being allowed to check in so early a lot. THANK YOU! The water gets hot quickly and has good pressure in the showers.

The prices online are fake and when you will go there they charge you 30% more i paid 101 frank for 2 beds not 77 as it is shown in the photo.

Sehr sauber ????. Aber im Ernst: wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Toll ist auch die Ecke mit Kicker, Shufflepuck und Flipper.

I like this place very much.
I do architecture, and it is interesting that somehow the upper floors have a linear symmetry.
The lounge is large and very comfortable.
The staff is friendly and clean.
(I also like that breakfast is included.)

The hotel in a really comfortable and peaceful location. The foods was great, there was no problem with cleaning. everyone is very friendly and smiling , you can definitely choose this hotel with peace of mind.
