Excellent location, both for public transports and restaurants / stores. Friendly and efficient staff. Small but functional room with kitchenette as shown in the pictures. Very quiet despite the railway. Sorry for the carpet but I knew it. I'd recommend it!

The reception staff was amazing, they truly made me feel welcome in the hotel and in the city. On the other hand, the room rather reminded me to a school camp accommodation, the hotel is definitely not up to the 4-star standard.

On est loin d'un service et d'un prix 4 étoiles.
La chambre est mal entretenue, la climatisation ne fonctionne pas, on m'a mis un appareil d'appoint m'obligeant à laisser la fenêtre ouverte sur une rue passante.
La moquette était sale, des tâches collantes y étaient, qui se retiraient facilement.
Le café offert est un café soluble nescafé, digne d'un ibis budget.
Il y a de la moisissure sur les joints et le plafond de la salle de bain.
Le cadre de la porte de salle de bain est en très mauvais état, il se détache sur tout un côté et il rend difficile la fermeture de la porte.
Les locaux ne sont pas propres, un biscuit écrasé est resté dans l'escalier tout le long de mon séjour.

Bon rapport qualité prix et accueil agréable. Localisation avantageuse.
Ma déception tient à la chambre qui n etait pas une chambre de l hôtel sans que j ai pu le comprendre à la lecture de l offre. Cela explique le prix mais aussi la chaleur et le bruit. J aurais aimé pouvoir choisir en connaissance de cause.

Overall pleasantly surprised. There was a kitchen in our room, which was very nice and saved us a lot of money on food. Not as noisy as I would have expected, being right next to the station. The room could use some TLC though - there was big splotches of mold on the ceiling. But other than that it seemed clean. The wifi was very poor at times. And the cleaning never got around to our room on the days we stayed. But the staff was very nice and there was free parking very close by.

A proximité immédiate de l’entrée de la gare, très pratique pour un voyage de bon matin.

Un séjour agréable après changement de chambre (la première était munie dune baignoire avec 65cm à enjamber pour y entrer).
Une réclamation toutefois : le prélèvement prévu lors de la réservation n'ayant pas été effectif, je me suis trouvé majoré de 10% en ayant a régler au check-up (+ frais de paiement en CB hors UE), ce qui ne serait pas arrivé si je n'avais eu que la taxe de séjour (30CHF) a régler en liquide comme prévu.
Le montant réglé en euros ne correspond d'ailleurs pas au montant indiqué sur la confirmation de réservation (taxe incluse)

C'est une valeur sûre en terme d'accueil, de qualité et de variété. j'en ai fait ma cantine et mon lieu de rendez vous d'affaires comme amical privilégié.
J'y retourne en groupe le mois prochain.

The Water heater didn't have a plug that would fit in any sockets and you have to reregister into the wifi everytime the computer turns off which was inconvenient. Overall good experience though

Wifi needs to be improved for a modern hotel. It drops out and seems to only allow a certain number of connections, so if you try to use it at peak time it doesn't allow you to connect. The hot water in my room took a really long time to warm up and a lot of water went to waste. Window also doesn't close properly and stay closed.
Loved the location and front desk managers but wouldn't stay there again without improvements to the wifi.

The rooms are very quaint and that is fine, I do think though that they could do with a deep cleaning and a soft refresh, like replacing chair covers, curtains, pictures etc.
The bathroom was spotless as usual so bravo! I just found the rest of the place a bit dusty here and there, some stains on carpets and chairs.
