Newly renovated rooms, very clean. Dated hotel but still very comfy beds and pillows. Very close to the metro.

Cons:
Unlike other 4-5 stars hotels that we stayed into over the past 10 years, this is by far the most inflexible as no leeway to check in early. Despite our request to check in early as both of us were really feeling unwell, the staff really made it clear that the check in is 3pm. Besides she said they are all fully booked hence there's no available room for us to accommodate. Just tried checking the web and in fact they still have available rooms to book.
Anyway, we rested for a while at the lobby but unintentionally fell asleep.
Then, suddenly the Manager's demeanour was really off/ somehow a tad rude and said "you can't sleep here as my director will kill me!"
Ok fine Madam!

It was quite frustrating, especially when you were not feeling well.
The way the situation was handled could have been more empathetic and understanding. Believe it's important for hotel staff to be respectful, accommodating and considerate, especially in situations where guests are not feeling their best.

The only redeeming factor was she managed to find us a room quickly.

Anyway, the rest of our stay was more enjoyable despite the rocky start.

Very nice hotel with spacious bathroom and comfortable room. Excellent service, interesting interior design in an “old” style. Location is perfect, walking distance to all main sightseeing points. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great spot very close to the train station. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Common areas are a little dated, but the rooms have been updated. Cute little place. No complaints from me.

距離Lausanne火車站很近，走路不到五分鐘。當天值班的服務人員把我們的房間升等，一進房就驚喜連連，太漂亮了。房間裡還有咖啡機，提供免費咖啡、茶和礦泉水。房間裡的床偏軟，睡得不太習慣，但整體而言都不錯，地點真的很不錯。

Very short walk from Lausanne train station. Room had very nice bathroom, with nice shower, even had a clothesline. Refreshing and nice end to long travel day

Hôtel très pratique pour qui arrive en train et aura à utiliser les transports en commun (gratuits dans toute l’agglomération avec la Lausanne transport card offerte par les hôtels) ou voudra visiter Plateforme 10 : situé dans une impasse face à la gare (avec également à quelques mètres métro et bus).
L’arrière donne sur des jardins : on ne peut plus au calme (nous avons toujours eu des chambres de ce côté sans le demander).
Architecture et décoration originales : début XXème pour l’une avec un atrium, et un immense salon où l’on prend son petit déjeuner au large, et des œuvres d’art et du mobilier ancien pour l’autre (d’Europe, d’Afrique ou d’Asie), jusque dans les chambres.
Service très suisse : attentionné et professionnel.
Bref l’anti hôtel Accor-standardisé-aseptisé mais un petit voyage plaisant dans le temps et le monde.

The best part of this hotel is great location,just 2 min walk from the railway station. Numerous resturants, bars and supermarkets within 5 min walk. Also, Laussane Flon metro station is 2min walk away

يعيب الفندق محدودية المواقف تقريبا المواقف المتاحه للفندق 5 مواقف وعشان توقف لازم تجي بدري او تروح للمواقف العامه اليوم ب25 فرنك بس تطمىن على سيارتك ????????

Noisy as hell!
If u want to rest, this is not the place. Door bang wake u up all night. This place has isolation problem. I could hear the person next door flashing the toilet ????????

Uncomfortable bed.

???????? toilet in the lobby.

By the way, who the hell gave u 4star!!!

Basically threat by the hotel staff! Terrible service to customer.
The hotel itself is nice, the rooms are comfortable and super clean. But I also do not understand how it can be rated with 4 stars. The location is also great if you come by train.
I had a terrible experience with parking and some of the staff.
After finding a parking slot in front of the hotel (only 6 available!), I was informed indirectly, in the night before, that I would have to move my car in the next day before 08h. Next day, since there was still no slot available and the hotel did not care to reserve one for me, I asked if I could drop my keys, so that they could move it back after the need.
Their answer was"please move away your car otherwise we will call the police to remove it". They didn't give me any support in finding a new parking area but pointing to two distinct locations on a paper map that were located 2 metro stations away.
This all happened when I was leaving to work and caused a lot of stress.
