Avis BEYOND ARCTIC Rovaniemi

I really liked this tour company that I kept signing up for more! During my stay, I did back country skiing with Natasha (she was absolutely lovely and quirky!), northern lights tour (unfortunately we didn’t see anything with the cloudy skies, but our guide Ryan from California made sure that we had a photo shoot and drove us all the way to Sweden), and ice climbing (this was contracted out to Pyha, a fun experience ice climbing on a frozen waterfall)

During my stay at Rovaniemi, I've booked two activities: exploring the Frozen waterfalls and chasing the Northern Lights. We were accompanied by local guides that knew perfectly their region and the better spots, plus they were professionnal photographs. I've spent circa 300€ and it was worth. The expeditions were very nice, unfortunately Mother Nature didn't gave us the Northern Lights - at least, I've seen much more stars in the Lapland sky compared to France. Local tour guide specialising in small group excursions with a focus on photography. In particular, the husky tour (Call of the Wild, which is run via Bearhill Husky) and the national park hike (Riisitunturi Wilderness Adventure with tour guide Ryan) were the highlights of our trip. Thank you to all of the Beyond Arctic team who were friendly, energetic and gave great advice for the cold weather.

We booked many different tours with Beyond Artic but the tour with Oren Singer was the best. He was super experienced, well prepared us before the tour, he was passionate with photography and took the best shoot for everyone. Oren was the star and thank you for last night tour

My older kids did the ice climbing introduction which was very exciting and great value for money. Small group and lots of chances to climb. Would definitely recommend.

My review is going to be long, so please bear with me. I did the Aurora Hunt with Beyond Arctic on 17 Jan 2024. Their guide, Ryan picked us up from our desired location. He welcomed us warmly and was super super friendly while he took us to their office to get dressed up. Then he helped us find the proper clothing we need and literally gave us everything we needed. We also asked for 2 Tripods which he also gave us. We were a group of 8 people. He kept on explaining every single details about the Aurora Borealis while we were driving to the spot. We reached there, the first thing he said that we can always go back to the Car if we have any issues in the cold + they also have a Finnish Kota where he lit up the fire! He kept on taking pictures Idk infinite times and never complained once even though tbh I went super extra with my requests, but man he was the Best. We went back to the Kota to grill some sausages (normal meat, turkey, vegan) and also have some berry juice, he didn’t eat but he was going out and checking everytime if the Aurora is stronger. Once he came and told us it was a bit better and some of us ran. He kept on taking pictures btw in that while. He set my camera up and also tried to capture some photos, even though honestly mine wasn’t that best camera. He did more than I even imagined. I went back again with him to capture some Aurora on camera and he played with his Camera skills while suggesting some good ways to photograph the Aurora. The aurora was not that bright for the naked eyes but we could still spot it. But I would rate this trip 100 stars because he made this Hunt memorable and beautiful. He is a really good and amazing soul who is super passionate about what he does. He would never complain about taking multiple photos, he would do anything and everything possible to make sure you are comfortable during the trip. He tries super hard that people actually get to see aurora and also get really amazing pictures! He is an amazing photographer. While heading back, he kept on checking the sky multiple times even though the time was OVER. I decided if I go back again for the Aurora, I want to go with Beyond Arctic and make sure it’s Ryan. He made my Rovaniemi trip 1000 times better. I highly recommend Ryan and Beyond Arctic.

It was our favorite tour so far. We booked the photographic aurora tour. Markus was a great guide, told us a lot of facts about northern lights, made sure we were warm, and made a lot of pictures of everyone so we had great pictures of this memorable moment. Unfortunately one person of the group felt sick and we had to go back, so we couldn’t go further and hunt the auroras more.

Highly recommended. Marcus was an EXCELENT guide. Definetly one of the best days of my live.

Absolutely amazing company. We did 2 tours with them. One was a northern lights tour and the other was a reindeer tour. In our holidays we did 3 northern lights tours and the one we did with Finn and beyond artic was by far the best. He was amazing and took the extra mile to search out the best spot for the lights. If you want to see the northern lights there honestly is no one better than finn and beyond Artic.

For the raindeer sled ride we went with Anni who was amazing who looked after all our needs and took some great photos.

Eine der korrekt arbeitet muss immer belohnt werden. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!! Und wir haben am 12.januar ein Nordlicht Tour gehabt , alles wie versprochen danke nochmal !!!
