Fantastic food and very lovely service. The food was traditional and not fussy at all, but everything was delicious and pretty well-executed.

The fried seasonal veggies were much better than I expected. Highly recommended for sharing. The burrata was AMAZING. Just two extremely delicious burratas on the most boring salad lol. The chef just didn’t put an effort there because he knows that the burrata by itself tastes so damn good and needs very little additions. As for the pasta, I had the ciceri e tria, and my friend the ncannulata (with eggplant). When I looked at the portions, I thought to myself “no way I’m gonna finish that.” Well, I did finish every last bit of it. Never thought that pasta with chickpeas would taste this good. Finally, we had the “pezzeti te cavallu”. Surprisingly, it was tender and pretty good! Then we had dessert, and it was just ok. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to experience typical Apulian / Leccese cuisine.

What a disappointment!! If I could I would give no stars. I know & cook good Italian food—this place was so underwhelming. I hesitated, but ordered lasagne. Described as having meat, cheese & egg all of which were barely visible—basically inedible. To top it off, when it came to the table, it was lukewarm. The 16€ appetizer of vegetables was underwhelming as well. I regret that I didn’t send it back. Despite it’s mostly good ratings, think twice before you choose this restaurant.

In questo ristorante si respirano e si assaporano le vere tradizioni. Consiglio vivamente le orecchiette, le migliori mai mangiate.

My wife and I came here after hearing about it from friends and family and I'm glad we made the time to dine here. The food was pretty great. We ordered several plates in order to try as much of the menu as possible. Portions were generous too. Service was also great, though I do want to point out that this is a family run restaurant. I've read a few reviews where people complain about the service and I feel that they are expecting too much from a family run restaurant. Sit back, relax with a glass of wine, and enjoy where you are in the moment. These people CARE about their food and wants to do it justice. This was one of our favorite restaurants through our 2 weeks of travel through Italy. I have no specific recommendation because all of the food was amazing. I only suggest you remember to leave some room for their dessert.

I was looking forward to a much better meal.
The dishes were served lukewarm. The place catered to a large tourist group and became extremely noisy. The food was OK but not great. The buratta was a solid block of mozzarella and not at all creamy. The lasagna was fair, salads were small and served without olive oil and vinegar which had to be requested and to top it all, a previous reviewer mentions the credit card machine fails to work and only cash was accepted. Guess what?! Same thing happened tonight- are they not wanting to pay the credit card fees? They acted like this was the first time this occurred. A disappointment for sure. Save your money and go to a pizzeria.

Le trattorie vecchio stampo con cui non si sbaglia mai.
Semplicità, genuinità, getilezza. Ciceri e tria meritano una menzione così come la cicoria saltata. Personale gentile, prezzi onestissimi. Super consigliato.

Le restaurant est vraiment super ! Les plats sont traditionnels, très bien exécutés et à un prix tout à fait attractif ! La famille qui tient ce restaurant est tout simplement charmante! Je recommande vivement cet enchantement culinaire !

Wir fanden unsere Speisen sehr lecker! Ich kann beide Pasta Gerichte sehr empfehlen.

Nur der salat war leider nichts besonderes.

Ansonsten ist das Restaurant sehr gemütlich und das Personal nett

Ottima cucina. Piatti tipici con ingredienti di ottima qualità. Nessuna "rivisitazione" dei piatti, addirittura il menù è scritto in dialetto.
Il personale spiega i piatti molto gentilmente al momento dell'ordine.
Ottima posizione nel centro storico della città. Il prezzo è giusto.

If you came to lecce and didn't have time to stop here, you missed out. Being from an Italian heritage I appreciated the simple ingredients turned sophisticated in flavour.

We had a perfect dinner here. Great authentic and local food. The kind of menu you don't find on every corner in Lecce.
We had the antipasto of the house. Pure vegetarian starter ????. Also the spaghetti with meatballs and the vegetable balls made from eggplant. Absolutely delicious. When in Lecce, this is a must go to. Come early or book a table because it gets full very quickly.

Very nice Italian restaurant. Everything was tasty and the service was really good as well. There was just a small issue when we could not pay by card. The staff said this happens usually late at night. The portions could also be bigger, but all the ingredients were very good. Also make sure to make a reservation as the place is usually crowded.

Cuisine salentine authentique

Nous avions pris la précaution utile de réserver, heureusement. Excellente table, pas de "touristes", que des locaux.
Nous avons apprécié les légumes frits et l'agneau aux petits oignons, c'est le cas de le dire. Les portions sont généreuses, n'hésiter pas à partager, ici, cela se fait, on n'est pas en France !
