In close proximity to Cedars. Bed was extremely comfortable. Safe, secure parking. Friendly, competent staff. Reasonable rate.

If you're seeking a boutique hotel that flawlessly combines comfort and convenience, Elan Hotel is the perfect choice.
One standout feature for me was the lobby's coffee maker, a seemingly small detail that made mornings effortless, allowing for a hassle-free start to the day.
The staff at Elan Hotel, particularly Ms. Karla and Mr. Zia at the front desk, deserve applause for their exceptional hospitality. Their professionalism and warmth enhanced my entire stay.
Notably, the hotel's prime location is a major draw. Everything you need, from dining to shopping and attractions, is within easy walking distance, offering unparalleled convenience for travelers.

Nothing special other than location. Our room's air con wasn't working and no windows; they offered to bring fans and stated they were having trouble with some of the rooms. Moved us, but only after we insisted on a room with working air. Morning coffee machine in lobby a fancy one, but no tea bags, no cups one day.
Halls and stairways dirty carpet. Room was clean, though.

Great location only a few blocks from the Beverly Shopping Center. Rooms are extremely clean and very nice staff.
Try the King Road Cafe for an outstanding breakfast or lunch. Only two blocks away on Beverly Blvd.

A 2-story hotel. Very chic and beautiful. I took the top floor which gave me a better view of the busy street. There is a balcony and a sitting area on the first floor. It was quiet here despite the traffic. You have all the basic amenities minus a microwave which is in the lobby. I asked if I could borrow one since we were staying here for a couple of days and they had it delivered to my room. Wi-Fi was available and they had free coffee and wine packages to try in the morning and evening. The staff was generous and helpful. The hotel was located near restaurants and shopping centers in walking distance. A great find.

I have absolutely zero clue why this hotel is as expensive as it is. There is absolutely nothing, whatsoever, about this hotel that is even remotely special.
The rooms are very basic. The location isn't phenomenal. There's no breakfast or any real amenities.
The advertised free wine or whatever is a hole in the wall cart that is not worth your time.
The best thing around here is walking to the Mexican place next door for lunch.
I don't see where this hotel gets off thinking it's worth almost 300 a night.
Any of the cheap airport hotels are significantly better 3x as a cheap and come with free breakfast

Price online cheaper than calling in. Rates may change due how full hotel is. At this point have not been contacted as stated by GM for resolution of price difference.

Omg the night staff that checked me in was so amazing his Name is Jordan and he was the most helpful night staff I’ve ever encountered. Customer service at its finest. There wasn’t a request that he couldn’t get done for me really a one of a kind experience it was a blast I’ll recommend this hotel to anyone just for the customer service of the staff alone. Not to mention the location was beautiful clean and oh so welcoming.

Room was slightly over basic, but I am rating this place at a one due to the plumbing.
The drains are a nightmare. While taking a shower, the shower became a bath from the extremely SLOW drains. It just wasn't the water from my shower but the drains were releasing junk from the deep, back into my tub filled with water. It was disgusting.
Avoid this place until they can fix their drainage problems. Unless you go and don't plan on using the bathroom you'll be happy.
The room was on the first floor so I can't say if the same was experienced on the second or third floor.
In any event, I'm sorry to say that I would NOT recommend this location for your hotel accomodations.
I'd happily provide a retraction once I know this issue has been corrected. Until then consumer beware.

Our bedsheets had blood on them, so we asked staff to change them but they just left the sheets on the table (usually hotels change them for you at least from our experience). The towels were very dirty and had hair on them, the room had a funky smell and the carpet looked dirty too…wouldn’t say this was a good experience. Location was ok as it was near the tourist attractions and you can park your car nearby
Unfortunately, our last stay was beyond disappointing.
Previous management had the place running like a dream with great atmosphere and lots of clientele. Its now like a ghost town.
In the past breakfast was provided and not just a piece of toast! There were waffles, fresh fruit, juices, coffee & tea and yes toast and for us Australians they even had vegemite. Now….. Coffee (from a machine) from 7.30 – 10.00 – that’s it!
Also, in the past from 5.00pm – 7.00pm each day there was happy hour with wines, beers, cheese, biscuits, and it was a scramble to find a seat as it was so popular. They still advertised the happy hour but in the two nights we were there nothing! When I asked the VERY DISINTERESTED “receptionist” at the counter she said no not tonight (or the next night during our stay) and as we were leaving for dinner on our first night, she offered us a can of beer which we declined. She now will not even make eye contact as we come and go, its like we have done something wrong. Very unprofessional. One the third and last night of our stay there were two bottles of wine on the reception counter. When we ask if these were for happy hour the gentleman on reception advised that they were and asked if we would like some. We said yes and he poured us each a half glass of wine into a plastic cup. We then asked for and received another half glass of wine. However, when we asked for a third half glass we were told that it was a two glass maximum and we could not be served any more – ridiculous!
Whilst the rooms are clean, the whole place is very tired and a shadow of its former self. We will not be staying at the Elan should we visit LA again. To be honest with the current management I doubt that it will still be open when we do.
Lift your game Elan.
