Loved the ranch!!! Me and my little one had a cute bungalow... We were able to walk around the property and see some beautiful scenery and animals. The trails are unique as well... Awesome views! And the breakfast and dinner are great!! Family friendly environment and helpful staff.. would definitely go again!!!

Really nice place to stay at in Rincon de la Vieja. Amazing location, beautiful garden with a lot of animals to spot in the morning, great food and super helpful owners.
Pablo gave us some great tips for hikes to do, and the kitchen was even able to make lunch packages for a day where we had a longer hike.

Do note that, if you’re travelling by car, the roads here are a lot rougher than in the rest of Costa Rica. We still managed to get by with a 2WD though.

We stayed 3 nights here and had a wonderful time. The best was the hospitality of Ana and Pablo who made every guest feel at home. We learnt a lot about chocolate, the farm and life in Costa Rica.The team was very friendly and helpful. We absolutely recommend to stay in this peaceful and beautiful place!

Staying at La Anita Rainforest Ranch was the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. We stayed for three nights and had an incredible experience. The hospitality of Pablo and Anna are unmatched; we felt so welcome and taken care of during our stay. The food was phenomenal, with a menu of fresh local foods that changed daily. Everything was very clean and taken care of. The property offers plenty to explore, and the lack of WiFi in the cabins makes it easy to unplug and enjoy the company of your companions. We HIGHLY reccomend the cacao tour- it was very informative and changed our perspective on chocolate and the industry at large.

The ranch will forever hold a special place in our hearts!

Wow, war das ein toller Tag und eine angenehme Nacht!
Die Kakaofarm liegt sehr ruhig weit abseits vom Massentourismus. Die Straße dorthin ist nicht gut, aber auch ohne 4x4 auf jeden Fall machbar. (Wir hatten einen kleinen Suzuki Stadtflitzer und es war kein Problem)
Die Tour über die Plantage und vor allem die ganzen Informationen rund um Kakao waren sehr ausführlich und super spannend. Die Verkostung war dann sowieso einfach Klasse!
Hier ist man auf einem Familienbetrieben Hof und man spürt einfach die Liebe zum eigenen Produkt.
Die Übernachtung im kleinen Bungalow war auch super angenehm.
Auf der Farm haben wir noch wirklich viele Tucane und Kolibris gesehen.

Wer nach Costa Rica reist MUSS hier her!

Mein Freund und ich waren für eine Nacht bei Pablo und Ana zu Gast und haben bei Pablo die Kakao-Tour gebucht. Wir fühlten uns wie Zuhause und wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und absolut sauber, das Essen war super lecker und die Tour fantastisch! Pablo erklärt viele interessante Informationen rund um die Kakao-Frucht und man darf auch sehr viel probieren :-)

Wir würden jedem empfehlen bei Pablo und Ana in Costa Rica vorbeizuschauen und die tolle Kakao-Tour zu erleben! Es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Vielen lieben Dank für die tolle Zeit bei euch!

Ein Kleidod mitten mit Dschungel.
Die Finca wird mit viel Herzblut von Pablo und Ana geführt. Einfache, aber sehr saubere Bungalows stehen auf einem herrlichen Anwesen. Ein schön angelegter Garten mit See wartet auf die Gäste.

Outstanding hotel with very friendly staff. The surrounding is unique and secluded. The breakfast, especially choco banana pancakes, is heaven. Highly recommended to really detach and relax.

Traumhafte Unterkunft!
Etwas schwer zu erreichen uber schlechte Strassen, jedoch mit einem höheren Fahrzeug locker zu machen.

Das Gastgeber-Paar ist sehr zuvorkommend.

Es gibt auch Touren, Kochkurse oder man kann über das riesige Grundstück wandern oder den Nationalpark besuchen.

Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr lecker.

Nuestra estadía donde Anita y Pablo fue una maravilla! Nos costó irnos tanto nos gustó este lugar. Todo el mundo es muy amable, la comida es una delicia y la naturaleza al rededor es una belleza. Nunca olvidaremos los momentos pasados en el Ranch. :)
La habitación estaba muy linda y los alrededores también. Un ambiente de paz y de la naturaleza con la fauna y la flor.

We stayed at La Anita four nights and enjoyed every minute. The ranch is located in a very small town of about 49 family’s. Almost everything that was served for breakfast, lunch and dinner was grown or raised right there. Pablo did a fantastic chocolate tour that was sure interesting. We did the cooking class and made our own dinner at a local family’s house. Boy did we have fun there and the food was great!. We also did the horseback riding tour. Just walking the horses but over hill and dale. Again so much fun.

The best part of our stay was getting to know Ana and Pablo. We can’t say enough great things about them. They are really great hosts.

If you want to get away from it all for a few quiet and peaceful days don’t miss this opportunity! We loved it!

Malgré une météo perturbée (pluie quasi non stop pendant 48h)depuis le passage de l'ouragan Otto, nous avons vécu deux jours formidables à la Finca. Accueil chaleureux. Tour chocolat très intéressant. Vaut le détour à tout point de vue!
