Plus de 300 ha pour observer les animaux. L'un des meilleurs endroits pour profiter du volcan Arenal, et avoir la meilleure vue sur La Fortuna. Les chambres vue volcan offrent des balcons privatifs très cosy. Restaurant et 11 km de sentiers de randonnée ouverts à tous (payants), musée, spa, piscines... Aussi l'un des points de départ pour le Cerro Chato (plus court et plus facile que depuis La Fortuna). Si vous n'y logez pas, nous vous conseillons vivement d'y venir pour la journée.

My stay at this lodge was a memorable journey into Costa Rica's natural wonders. The location, with panoramic views of the iconic Arenal Volcano, is simply breathtaking. The lodge's rustic charm combined with modern amenities provided a comfortable and authentic stay. The highlight was the extensive network of trails, allowing for immersive hikes through diverse ecosystems, waterfalls, and wildlife sightings. The onsite natural history museum and informative guided tours added educational value to the experience. Dining at the lodge's restaurant offered delicious meals with a side of volcano views. The staff's friendliness and dedication to conservation efforts were commendable. Overall, Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails is a haven for those seeking adventure, tranquility, and a deep connection with Costa Rica's rich biodiversity.

Best of the best and spectacular birds. Great food. Excellent hiking trails. Over 800 acres surrounded by Arsenal Volcano National Park. Wow. Hire a local guide.

Come here for the birds but I can't recommend their food. Rooms were very nice and their grounds and trails were excellent for bird watching!
