Great staff. Fixed small issues fast. Maintenance needed in room 212. Toilet seal valve leaks so water refills the flush bowl every 90 seconds, loud and irritated by the noise. Towel holder on the back of the bathroom door is loose, so towel falls on the floor ????

You know what? The Doubletree cookies really are as good as they say they are the shower pressure was wonderful, good enough to please Kramer and Jerry. It is a good hotel, although an expensive stay. The only issue, that was corrected with earplugs, no problem, was a low Hum from the HVAC system, but definitely not a dealbreaker. Comfortable beds, nice staff, convenient to everywhere. We had crawfish at Dwight, excellent, and then ice cream at the last remaining Borden ice cream shop in the United States. We would stay here again we could get a better price for one night. Our room with all of the taxes was $150 and that is with our Hilton Honors membership. Ouch! Note: their breakfast buffet was $14. I’d recommend you go to the most excellent Reve Coffee, or, go have great beignets at Coffee Depot just down the road in Scott.

Street entrance is bad. Bathroom is small. Air conditioner needs upgrades, especially the thermostat. Quiet rooms.

Convenient Location / Nice Staff
No bedbugs but does have mold spots on bathroom ceiling. Also found dark hair in the bathroom sink & on the floor, which did not belong to us. LITTLE BITTY bathroom. Toilet paper in a t spot. Counters do not looked to be wiped clean of the sprayed on chemicals. Beds aren’t that comfy.

2/24 Room 1111 - piss-poor quality control

Upon arrival, the door was locked open and ajar. Anyone had access to the room between when it was cleaned and our arrival.

Commode reservoir leaked into bowl all night long.

No wash clothes provided

And, don’t refer me to contact support as you have done to previous quests. What a lame excuse for a response by a person representing the hotel, much less an owner.

Room smells like a cigarette and also placed in a handicap room and wasn't told. Not sure if the hotel was booked and only one but would be good to be told and maybe given another option if there was available.

We were visiting for an athletic event. The staff and location were great! It’s a very clean hotel so I was comfortable in my room as far as cleanliness. The double beds are small, sheets are old and scratchy and the bed is hard. They smelled like bleach the whole nigh and I did not sleep. Unfortunately, I will not stay here again because the beds were so uncomfortable.

We stayed during our driving trip through the southern states on our round the world trip. The staff at reception were the best on our whole trip. They gave us great local recommendations and spoke about everything we wanted to know about with confidence. The bed was just luxurious and after a long drive was perfect. We seriously want those pillows! We stayed at quite a few Hilton hotels. They should send staff from the others to see what fantastic service is. This hotel is my new benchmark for service. It makes a huge difference. It has been a few weeks, and that is what we remember.

We were there for a manager’s meeting and I walked into the hall out of the conference room and saw the coffee and water table and a lady that works there poked me on the arm and put the sign off the table in my face and said this is not yall table this is for another group. She was very rude and had her crew come over and take the whole table

We used the Hilton Honors app to check in and get our e-keys. This was a seamless process. We booked the King River View Corner Room on the 11th floor. Upon arriving in the room, the room smelled musty, the windows were dirty with oily fingerprints, the room was very dated with old furniture and fixtures. We asked for an upgrade. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating and gave us cookies. We upgraded to the King Suite on the 15th floor with the in-room spa tub and walk in glass shower. The room was clean but still smelled musty. The furniture was old and cabinet doors didn't stay closed. Every sink faucet and the spa tub faucet had knob plugs missing. There was a hole in the wall next to the bedroom thermostat. For the price of the room, this definitely did not meet our expectations for a supposed 4-star Hilton Hotel. The spa tub worked well and was relaxing. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The shower was clean and roomy. The shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and bars of soap did not smell nice. Again, not 4-star quality. There is no room service for breakfast. The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet was $14 per person. The food was cold and was nothing special. There were dry biscuits, overcooked dry scrambled eggs, cold home fries, oatmeal, grits, bacon, sausage, fruit, toast, cereal, and juice. This is the heart of Cajun country in Lafayette. The food should be spectacular! The coffee was the worst bitter swill I've ever tasted in South Louisiana. The staff were nice but not very attentive in the restaurant. Definitely do not recommend eating breakfast here. Service elevator was broken, staff said for a week, so housekeeping using main elevators causing it to take up to 10 minutes to wait for an elevator.

We paid higher rate for "executive stay", which did give us a higher floor. However the windows hadn't been cleaned so it was difficult to see out. The worst was the perfumed rooms. That for me was a nightmare, had a pretty serious allergic reaction. We thought we had breakfast but never was found. The folks working there were very friendly, but I feel like even thinking about it, makes me want to break out in hives. The beds were the worst and oldest we have encountered on our journey so far. Parking lot was safe. Felt more like being incarcerated for the night.

There on business. Annual company leadership training held there for past few years. Convenient meeting rooms located at facilities. Great experience.
