It has been transformed per part in a museum.
There are some a very nice statue of Keshavnarayan - a form of Vishnu - outside and historical pieces in the museum.
In the middle is a place where the animals were sacrified.
The Patan Museum is a museum located in Patan, Lalitpur, Nepal. The museum falls under the UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. The Patan Museum was inaugurated in 1997 by Late King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah. The Patan Museum displays the traditional sacred arts of Nepal in an illustrious architectural setting..........????????????????????????
Evenings would be the best time to visit. You can see all the history of Patan over the years along with the unique little bahals and passeways in the once palace.
Then towards the end you can take numerous pictures in the gorgeous chaurs they have. It also a heaven if you love architecture in general.
The staff there were pretty friendly and showed us around when we asked about the place.
You can enjoy the history of Patan, beautiful architecture and beautiful pictures all at under NPR 100.
