ENGLISH:
My adventure with this place began when their delivery car parked on the sidewalk, blocking the entire way on their side of a bustling, high-speed road. When I politely indicated that me and my two-year-old co-adventurer were having trouble getting across, the apparent owner directed us to the 'alternate route' – to walk right on the speedway with cars zipping by, in the middle of a curve where drivers could not see you from distance. Apparently, Frogger is a game this restaurant believes one should play in real life. When I expressed the risk of doing that with a toddler, the gentleman got angry.
This could have been a forgettable episode until a friend unwittingly booked us a table at the very same venue. Reluctantly, I agreed to dine there, only to be greeted by what was easily the worst food I have tasted in not just Alba, but the entire Piedmont region. The Ravioli Al Plin was an inexplicable combination of excessively salty yet bland, and the brasato was tough, dry and flavorless. The lone positive note was the price, which, upon reflection, was still more than what the meal was worth.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. When you're in the neighborhood, don't even stroll by it. Literally. They may well have blocked the sidewalk again!
