I would like to share my amazing experience at Ravenala Attitude.
The place is stunning. Very peaceful atmosphere.
The staff are very welcoming and kind.
Large variety of food and very clean place.
Special thanks to Mr Ismail Peerally for his professionalism.
He is really friendly.
He ensured that everything was perfectly done to make my birthday a memorable one.
I was pleasantly surprised.
It was our first time at Ravenala attitude and for sure we will come back.

Had a memorable stay at Ravenala Attitude. The staff is really friendly. Special thanks to Mr. Ismail Peerally who went all the way to ensure that we have an enjoyable and wonderful moment. Excellent variety of food. I am looking forward to my next escape at Ravenala.

We stayed at the Ravenala Attitude for our honeymoon in September 2024 and could not recommend the hotel and staff enough!
The hotel is located on the beach of a beautiful bay and the sunsets there are stunning. We stayed in a beachfront suite and had the most amazing view and our own comfortable sun loungers in front of our room. The room had a TV with lots of channels, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very modern.
The hotel has about seven restaurants, which are all excellent. The hotel has a buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner which has a very wide range to suit everyone. The other restaurants are all delicious and we would recommend trying them all! Our particular favourite was Lime restaurant which serves sushi on the beach and Avinash's service was wonderful! There are a number of bars throughout the hotel and there is so much comfortable seating to sit and enjoy a drink. There is a wide range of drinks included with the all inclusive package and staff will bring you drinks to poolside and beachside loungers.
The staff are incredible here and will go out of their way to give you everything you need for your stay.
The hotel offers activities throughout the day, including active classes, aqua fit, sunset yoga, table tennis and volleyball tournaments, quizzes and evening sega shows. A big shout out to Kevin and Anoush who were so much fun! There are also local tour operators offering boat trips and other day trips from the beach at reasonable prices.
The hotel offer a number of water sport activities in the bay, including daily glass bottom boat and snorkelling trips, pedalo, kayak, stand-up paddle and windsurfing. We would recommend this, especially the snorkelling trips to a nearby reef where the variety of fish is amazing. We even saw dolphins in the bay whilst on a pedalo.
The hotel is located about 20-25 minutes drive from the capital city, Port Louis. The hotel can organise a taxi and the central market, Natural History Museum and waterfront are worth a visit.
We also visited the nearby Botanical Gardens and would definitely recommend these!
We would not hesitate to recommend the Ravenala for a relaxing break where you will be well-looked after.

We had a great time at Ravenala. Small issues with the room but got fixed after we complained to the reception.
Big thank you to Ismail, the guest relations manager for making it up to us by offering us a lunch at Lime Restaurant (excellent sushi btw) and even gave us a birthday cake as we were celebrating by husband’s birthday.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at the Ravenala Attitude. Beautiful hotel and setting, the varied restaurants across the complex are great and we were very impressed with the food. The staff can’t do enough for you, they are amazing, special mention to Avishek and his team at the Bistro, Vikaram and his team at O Beach, Lalit who always had a smile at breakfast, Mozahir who kept the drinks coming whilst we lounged poolside, Kavish the best barman ever & Kreshan for being friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Would absolutely recommend.

Hôtel réservé pour un anniversaire.
Le personnel a oublié l’anniversaire alors que le jour même Mr est partie à la réception pour prévenir!!!!
Ne mettez pas vos enfants au kidsclub car le planning n’est pas respecté, a part faire de la piscine tout les matins et la sortie bateau les autres activités ne sont pas respectées !
Je vais donner quelques exemples : personnalisation du topbag, chase aux trésors, préparation spectacle de danse….
Les enfants sont restés à l’intérieur à faire du coloriage !!!!
Le personnel du restaurant pas accueillant et la personne qui réserve les restaurants également ( h24 avec son téléphone )
C’est inadmissible pour le prix payé pour ce sejour!
À ce prix il y’a des hôtels beaucoup mieux!
La qualité de service, l’organisation, le personnel doivent être revus !
Mention spéciale pour le personnel de la plage : sachii , rouan, keshi etc…..
C’est des personnes qui méritent vraiment d’être mis en avant

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Ravenala Attitude. It was our belated honeymoon and The Ravenala family made sure we had an amazing honeymoon. It is a beautiful hotel and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The beach was beautiful and the water activities was awesome. We had a good time and had delicious meals at the restaurants.
Marvin at reception assisted us so much with check in and all our queries. The boathouse team was amazing, specifically Kevin and Rajesh. At O beach restaurant - Dimitry was always friendly and helpful and assisted us by taking awesome pictures. At the beach bar - Rajini and Mungum were amazing with drinks and always made sure we were looked after.
We will definitely return again.

The resort is located in the north, about 20-30 min drive from Grand Baie and closer to Port Louis. It’s about 1-2 hours from the Airport dependent on traffic and roughly 2 hours to Chamarel 7 Sands in the South.
Service: outstanding. From your welcome, during your stay and departure you feel well taken care of and in great hands. Again, outstanding!
Rooms: we had a poor initial experience as the room we were assigned had a major water leak from the room above into our bathroom. It also had a damp smell. For a resort with such high service quality, I expected this room to be closed off until it was repaired and not issued out to any guests. However, once I complained we were moved to another room which was in perfect order.
WiFi: their coverage was great as I had signal from the reception to my room, pool area and even the beach. Speed was also stable and fast. I suspect around 50-100mbps.
Animals: if you are not an animal lover, this resort may not be for you. The Attitude Group takes on many animal care responsibilities, in this resort they offer a temporary home for stray dogs and cats as it is a major issue in Mauritius. The dogs on site were seemingly friendly, but it still made me feel uneasy around my small kids as they were in fact stray animals and we did not know their history. There were around 6 dogs that I noticed. People do adopt animals from here and they didn’t seem to bother anyone, mostly kept to themselves. However, animals are always unpredictable.
Food: Buffets - same all over the world, it’s either a hit or miss. Some days were good and others, not so grand. The resort offers up to 8 other restaurants on site servicing Italian, Asian, American and other styles of food. The American restaurant was excellent and what you’d expect from a steakhouse. You must book your seating in advance, so I recommend when you arrive to do so as there are not many tables and it is booked quickly.
Pool Area: clean with many pools to choose from. There is a kids pool which is 0.3m deep and an adults pool that is just over a meter deep. There is song and dancing entertainment near the main bar and another bar by the beach front.
Beach: very nice with adequate seating, a juice bar (I recommend the coconuts and pineapple juice), table tennis, volleyball chess and other games. The water was a bit colder compared to Grand Baie, I suspect it may be due to the river that is adjacent to the resort. Pedal boat is highly recommended and they offer guided sailing lessons in a small sailing boat.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend the resort, again take into consideration how comfortable you are with stray dogs before booking.

We recently stayed at the beautiful Ravanela Attitude in Mauritius, and while the resort itself was wonderful, what truly made our experience remarkable was the exceptional customer service provided by Yogen, the Customer Service Manager.
His dedication to providing exceptional service made our stay unforgettable, and it’s because of his efforts that we are already looking forward to returning.

Für den Preis enttäuschend.
- Es wird mit 9 Restaurants beworben. Effektiv kann man nur in 2-3 davon auch wirklich essen. Wenn man weniger als 1 Woche im Hotel bleibt, hat man keine Chance eine Reservierung in den beliebten Restaurants zu bekommen, obwohl wir sofort nach dem Check-In an dem Reservierungsschalter haben. Es gibt auch keine Warteliste, falls jemand absagt. Verstehe nicht, warum die Restaurants auch noch Schließtage haben, wenn die Verfügbarkeit so begrenzt ist. Vor dem Check In kann man auch keine Reservierungen machen. Wurde uns verwehrt, als ich das Hotel per Mail angeschrieben habe.
- Dame beim Reservierungstisch sehr unfreundlich. Hatte keine Interesse nachzusehen, ob Tische frei geworden sind. Wurden einfach abgewiesen.
- Büffetrestaurant: Auswahl beim Frühstück ziemlich eingeschränkt. Für was braucht man 3 Stationen für Eier? Warum kann man nicht noch etwas anderes anbieten? Abendessen gute Auswahl, aber nur 50% davon schmeckt auch wirklich. Zu den Dim Sums gibt es keine Sojasauce, Hähnchen schmeckte immer trocken, Essen teils kalt, Pizza schmeckt wie TK, Nachtisch eher aus der Großpackung und Pasta leider total geschmacksneutral.
- Events schlecht kommuniziert. Es wurde nirgends darauf hingewiesen, dass man sich für den Kockurs anmelden muss, bei anderen Aktivitäten schon, dass wir davon ausgegangen sind, dass keine Voranmeldung dafür notwendig ist. Als wir teilnehmen wollten, war es natürlich ausgebucht und ein späterer Termin war für uns nicht mehr möglich.
- Badezimmer leider schon in die Jahre gekommen. Nicht das passende Niveau für den Preis.
- Schnorcheln: Lohnt nicht. Kaum Fische, Korallen großteils abgestorben.
- Grund Nr. 1, warum ich nicht wieder buchen würde. Der Strand. Ja, das Hotel hat Strandzugang, aber der Strand ist nicht wirklich schön. Nicht so, wie man sich einen Strand auf Mauritius vorstelle. Sehr austauschbar. Dafür muss man nicht um die halbe Welt fliegen. Für einen künstlich angelegten Strand...
- Wir hatten Freunde auf der Insel, die in einem anderen Hotel übernachtet haben und uns lediglich tagsüber im Hotel treffen wollten. Da wurde auch ein ziemlicher Aufriss gemacht. Nach langer Diskussion war es ok. Wir wollten nur externen Besuch anmelden und haben nicht damit gerechnet, dass wir sie fast hätten wegschicken müssen.
Alles in allem. Ziemlich enttäuschend. Geld in keinem Fall wert. Nicht empfehlenswert.

Excellent hôtel bien situé sur la côte Nord Est de l'île Maurice à proximité des villes de Balaclava et Arsenal.
Hôtel avec plusieurs restaurants avec réservation et sans réservation et piscines.
Jolie plage bien aménagée et bien entretenu.
A proximité de l'hôtel se trouve une belle rivière navigable en kayak, on peut voir aussi une jolie petite cascade.
Idéal pour les famille grâce au kids club et aussi a la séparation entre le coin couple et le coin famille.
J'ai pu passer par les taxis partenaires de l'hôtel pour me déplacer dans l'ile.
Je suis passé par les beachboy pour une baignade avec les tortues, mais je ne recommande pas car c'est le service n'est pas aux rdv.
J'ai pu faire des sorties avec Northview tours société et j'ai réalisé aussi une sortie dauphin avec Carine Bouille, excellente demi-journée avec son équipe.

We booked day package at the hotel, they welcome us very warmly showing us all the facilities, bar, restaurant and bathrooms.
The food was awesome, lots of variety at the beach buffet as well as the restaurant Mozaic. I loved their grilled calamari, sweet and sour fish and butter chicken.
The desserts also was delicious, I ate coconut cake and chocolate cake (génoise) and mini strawberry tarts.
I also loved the choices for tea time, only complaint is that I had to wait for a long time to receive the pancakes and waffles. Lots of fresh fruits choices and mini snacks were available.
I enjoyed playing carrom as well as kayak and Pedalo, it was superb. Loved swimming in the big adult pool.

I had an amazing day at Ravinala Hotel. During tea time, I had the pleasure of meeting a Chief, whose name I unfortunately forgot to ask. He surprised me with delicious vegetarian dishes that were brought to my table. The service was exceptional, and I highly recommend this hotel.

Très beau séjour au ravenala hôtel avec un personnel très agréable et convivial. Chambres spacieuse, restaurant variés avec menus différents chaque jours. Vue magnifique sur la plage et diverses activités. Je regrette seulement de devoir partir !!!! Nous sommes venus pour célébrer le mariage de ma sœur et tout était magnifique de la cérémonie au repas en passant par le personnels au petit soin de A a Z .
