1. The morning briefing at the village is rather long due to large group size (appx 30-40pax). Better if they can do the briefing in smaller groups. And briefing is not clear…
2. Lots of waiting time such as waiting for the shuttle bus to pick us up from the village to the rafting starting point, long waiting lines to get equipment and sign in valuables. We got picked up at 7:10am and only reached the starting point of the hike down to the gorge at 9am ish.
3. The grouping was not pre-arranged. Hence, time is wasted and everyone is kinda confused.
4. The hike down to the gorge is difficult yet amazing! But it would be much better if the stairs and rails are well maintained…
5. More waiting time once we reach the river as only half of the rafts are set up…
6. Minimal practice run in the water and the safety instruction is not super clear, which I do think that’s the most important thing…
7. one of the rafts had LEAKAGE issue. That particular group always had to pump the raft after the rapids….. huge safety concern!!!
8. The ratio of kayak rescuers to no of participants is rather low (?) if I remember correctly, there’s only 3-4 kayakers for 5-6 rafts.
Overall, our team is lucky to have a great, caring and encouraging guide. Tho it’s physically demanding, it’s fun! It would be much better if the safety and logistical arrangement can be improved…
Then, nobody advised us that the tandem ziplining is for up to 130kg. So you get to the bridge and surprise, you can't do the ctivity together. A waste of time. And everything happened on Christmas day, so they really ruined it for us.
They told me they will give me my money back but it never happened. I have been emailing them week after week and they decided not to answer anymore.
Just do some research before booking. Unfortunately, I didn't do it and my day was completely ruined.
