Feel like stay in botanical garden, flowers everywhere bird , monkey , sloth ,we were in hot top while monkey right on the tree so close to us , better than river tour only can hear them, the sloths spotted on the trees in the property which no where found on the night tour
The restaurant serves nice food with fair price ( move impressive after we left checked in another hotel) with comparison

This was all inclusive on our Titan tour of Costa Rica. Loved it. Fantastic birds flowers and other animals in the garden, very nice swimming pool . Very helpful and friendly staff

Das einzig gute ist die Natur hier es gibt viele Vögel und Leguane zu fotografieren. Kein Espresso und kein Wasserrefill der angeboten wird. Nichts in der Nähe an Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Am Pool hört man die laute Straße. Die Zimmer sind wohl hunderte mal übergestrichen worden. Ausstattung billigstes USA Motel. Aus unserer Sicht nicht mal 3 Sterne. Spinnweben an den Wänden. Unser Zimmer hat nach Schimmel gestunken.Türen krumm und nicht dicht Tresor mit Schlüssel das sagt schon das dieses Hotel geschätzt über 30 Jahre so betrieben wird. Zum Glück haben wir ein anderes Zimmer erhalten. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett. Im Restaurant durfte man nicht an den Öffnungen zum Garten sitzen da hier nur die in Massen angekarrten Amis und Engländer platz nehemen durften. Restaurant macht aber gute Speisen abends. Das Frühstück ist maximal 2-3 Sterne.Taxis kosten in eine Richtung 40-80 Dollar wenn man irgendwo hin möchte. Danke an unser Reisebüro Journaway was dieses Hotel gebucht hat das zeigt wie wenig Qualität man für seine Kunden bereitstellen möchte.

Stayed here 2 nights on a package that included 2 of their other hotels. With all meals at all hotels.
Rooms and service were excellent.
Horseback riding with Pedro and the Arenel volcano hike with Reece were both excellent.

Food was Mostly buffet when you go on a package, but it was all pretty tasty and very fresh ingredients.

Be aware this place is a long drive from Liberia airport. Due to some delays in getting our rental car, we left Liberia late and ended up driving through the mountains in the rain and darkness. Wasn’t horrible, but if you are not used to it, you may find it stressful. You need to be very attentive. Give yourself 4 hrs of sunlight to get there if you want to avoid any stress.

Not much around the hotel, so you’d need a car if you wanted to do anything other than hotel tours or just relax.

Un lugar hermoso! Las habitaciones amplias, limpias con ducha deliciosa, las instalaciones son preciosas, tienen los jardines preciosos y con buen mantenimiento todo el lugar, la piscina es grande, el jacuzzi súper lindo y con vista que relaja. Está a 40min aproximadamente de La Fortuna. El personal es súper atento y la comida de verdad que es deliciosa! No tengo ni una sola queja, espero volver pronto! 100% recomendado

What an amazing experience! My husband booked us here as part of an Engage Pickleball camp. The San Carlis River flows right through the resort . I didn’t play pickleball, but so enjoyed the amazing excursions: a 2 mile hike around Arenal Volcano National Park, a soak in a thermal hot springs, a nature safari float down the Penas Blancas River, and a tour of the Rescate Wildlife Rescue Center. There were many other activities such as adventure parks, ATV rides, bird watching, and more, but hey, I’m in my 70’s!!! The food was delicious and plentiful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. My only recommendation would be to request a river front room.

In die Jahre gekommene Anlage. Zimmer recht dunkel und muffig. Das Bad war nicht richtig geputzt u.a. noch Zahnpastateste im Waschbecken.

Weitläufige toll gelegene Hotel Anlage. Eignet sich für Familien wie für einzelne Personen. Tiere auf dem Areal auffindbar. Iguanas, viele Vogelarten, Affen und Schmetterlinge.
