The vans are very clean and have very good AC. Plenty of room for 5-6 people with several bags. The driver’s stopped for us to get dinner on the way to Santa Teresa, lunch on the way back, and the bathroom as needed.
Just a heads up, the roads are windy and can take a long time to go long distance, so Costa Ricans drive fairly fast and pass a lot. It is just the way of the road! But we felt completely safe with our both of drivers and it probably saved us 1.5 hours.
Neither driver spoke very much English and our Spanish is fair at best. We communicated well with the drivers using Google translate and used Google maps to verify drop-off locations.
Surpassed my expectations and exactly what we hoped for!
Both transfer were very punctual and I always felt safe.
With the ferry transfer you change drivers. This was also well organized and no problem
I even left 2 hats on the shuttle and they were had delivered to me less than an hour after I was dropped off.
I’ll definitely keep recommending this company and will travel with them again in the near future ????????????✨????????♥️☀️????????????????
The overall experience was great! Our shuttle was waiting right outside our hotel as scheduled and on time! The driver drove safely and helped us with our bags.
In Santa Teresa, the driver made about 7 stops to pick up all 15 passengers. This was the most time-consuming.
Once we were set, we drove all the way to Nicoya, with one coffee pit stop in Jicaral.
At Nicoya, everyone was separated and transferred into smaller shuttles to other destinations like Samara, Nosara, and Tamarindo.
From Santa Teresa to Nosara, it took us about 6 hours door-to-door.
I’m sure it’s hard to run a business like this but that’s your job (whoever runs the WhatsApp account). Also the website isn’t correct - they don’t run the afternoon shuttles, you enquire about it and then they try to reel you in to paying private as ‘not enough people want to take the afternoon shuttle’.
Next time I’ll be using Transporzuma.
