Cette ancienne propriété de la famille Serristori fut le témoin du passage de noms illustres : nobles, rois et même le pape Léon X. Parfaitement conservé et restauré, l’hôtel, dont une partie est construite sur les remparts de la ville, a gardé intact son cachet, et est aujourd’hui une halte choisie pour la sérénité. Les chambres et appartements s’harmonisent parfaitement à l’ensemble. Confort et services de haute qualité, à l’image de la piscine et du centre bien-être. Ne pas oublier la visite de la tour et du jardin typiquement florentin.

We stayed for a couple days. Because of the renovations, we cannot say anything about the spa. The old fashioned rooms were good and clean. A perfectly working air conditioning helped through the hot Italian summer nights. The service of the reception was excellent.
Unfortunately the breakfast was hardly mediocre. Every day you will get the same choice of food. If you are unlucky, the bread and cake is from yesterday and therefore not fresh or soft. The eggs were boiled till tuning blue-ish , the scrambled eggs were undercooked and fluid though. Every hot dish turned cold quickly, because of insufficient heating container. Coffee which ran through a big machine was quite okay. But you have a few option of caffeine-free beverages, which was quite nice. The restaurant for dinner performed similar in quality.
The pool looked nice but you have to walk up a hill to reach it. A lounger must be rented for 6€ per day.
A small city centre can be reached within 5 minutes with some shops and restaurants.
All in all for a hotel calling itself luxurious there is a lot of lost potential.

Consiglio questo incantevole posto, vi farà immergere nel 1400. Durante il percorso del mio viaggio, grazie a Google map, ho trovato, questa villa con spa, in cui soggiornare, non distante dall'uscita dell'autostrada. L'hotel che è un antica fattoria, ha un parcheggio al suo interno. Si trova a ridosso delle mure medioevali di un piccolo borgo toscano. Un delizioso angolo di tranquillità in cui scoprire giardini all'italiana, cantine e corti con vecchi oggetti della tradizione contadina, Qui di può godere di momenti di assoluto relax nella piscina coperta e nella spa, usufruire di ottimi massaggi, mangiare nel ristorante della villa gustanto buon cibo e buon vino e infine dormire in ottime camere pulite e silenziose. Io ho scelto la confort. Tutto ben accompagnato da un servizio alla reception esemplare. Bravissimo il giovane Lorenzo e tutti gli altri. Spero di ritornarci presto.

Residenza storica con tutte la comodità di una struttura moderna. Mantiene tutto il fascino dei cinque secoli di storia. Le camere sono grandi e comode. Gli spazi comuni sono ricavati da quelle che erano le zone di lavoro dell'antico casale. Tra i vari edifici che compongono il complesso, si trovano un bellissimo giardino all'italiana, un chiostro incantevole, un bel cortile e camminamenti molto distensivi. Il ristorante e una bella spa completano l'offerta. Ma oltre a tutto questo c'è anche una bella cantina perfettamente funzionante con produzione di vino ad altissimi livelli e un ottimo olio.
Durante il soggiorno si respira un clima di grande serenità che da l'impressione di essere a casa.
