Entouré de sable doré, presque les pieds dans l'eau, le restaurant La Capannina se situe sur le front de mer de Procchio, dans l'une des baies les plus spectaculaires de l'île d'Elbe. Au menu, des recettes audacieuses et contemporaines, sans oublier la tradition insulaire. Entre les viandes finement sélectionnées, la pêche du jour, les fruits et légumes de saison, les plats séduisent sur un mode léger et frais. A noter, ce restaurant est la propriété de l'hôtel del Golfo, il est ouvert à tous au déjeuner et au dîner, sur réservation.

The menu offers finest fish food with the option of the "pescato del giorno”. The extra is of course due to the freshness in a upscale price range. Nothing unusual but here they offer in addition some lovely extras.
The menu starts with a little appetiser of the kitchen. From that moment on, you know that we will have a great dinner. Indeed the appetiser was only the start of a delicious palate adventure.
Gorigia, was mastering her service at the table with her explanations and knowledge that we felt like in a Michelin star restaurant. In fact the dishes we ordered were presented in a very modern an appetising way. The taste of the dishes met what you saw on plate. We go on regular basis in Michelin star restaurant in our region and I have to conclude that some dishes were worth a star. Especially the pastry cook team, my god, they have dilevered an art piece and the taste of it.... Sensational! I am honestly happy of not living in this area because I would gain many extry kilos ????
At the end of the menu you receive again a kind of greating out of the kitchen by a small cornetto which is filled on place with different flavour creams and nut toppings. My preferred ones were chocolate with pistachio.
My favourite pasta was Linguine caccio pepe pistacchi e crudo di gambero.
In conclusion, if you look for a Michelin star like restaurant on a beach with a great sunset sscenery and of you want in addition to pay a fair price, this is the best place you can find.
