Siamo stati accolti come mai ci saremmo aspettati.
Stanze curate, e colazione super.
Un'esperienza che non dimenticheremo.
Grazie
Silvia e Marco di Pandino.
We are already looking forward to include Villa La Lodola in our itinerary again!
We spent one week at La Lodola with the good company of Mario, Manuela, and Maria (and Pigiama!) ❤️
Sometimes I catch myself (1 month later) staring out the window and remembering particular moments - the peace, the gentle sound of the birds and the fabulous playlists by Manuela and Mario. I now follow their playlists on Spotify. I'm listening to Mario's breakfast playlist as I write this.
This is a family living their passion for hospitality and love of their land. The food is intentionally and lovingly prepared. Their products are top quality and so, SO delicious. We brought boxes of jars of the spreads and jams back to the Netherlands and they are almost finished and I want to cry ????
Almost every day Mario would arrive (after hours of gardening in a heatwave) with a plate of fresh watermelon for his guests. When my husband casually mentioned his love of panzanella, they had it for us waiting at the restaurant - fuori menu!!
Everyone you come into contact with will brighten your day in unexpected ways. Their kindness is unending and the relaxing environment is so well-loved it makes you feel like you're living in simpler times.
We are better for experiencing the subtle magic of the farmhouse, food, and most of all the family at La Lodola. Theirs is an inspirational lifestyle to behold - I highly recommend it.
Alla prossima!! ????????
