Avis LA FORGE

Nous étions un groupe de 6 samedi dernier. Le new york était excellent, tant la cuisson, que la qualité de la coupe de viande. Les à-côtés, très ordinaire, pour le prix. La lenteur du service était incroyable, vu le peu d'achalandage. Pour le prix payé, nous irons probablement ailleurs, lors de notre prochaine visite à Tremblant...

Mon expérience concernant ce lieux était honnêtement pas très bien. Je m’attendais pas a des prix aussi élevés pour autant peut de choix sur le menu. Pour ma part, j’ai seulement pis le mac n cheese au homard. J’ai été malade quelques heures après a faire une intoxication alimentaire et je vous laisse deviner le reste puis mon ami de même. Je crois que le homard n’était pas très frais.. L’ambiance au niveau des musique c’était bien le décors est chaleureux puis pour le service c’était long avant d’avoir nos plats et il ont oublié des drinks. Je peut compatissez parce ont était 7 personnes mais on peut comprendre jusqu’à un certain point..

Great place to stop for lunch after a morning on the mountain. It definitely beats eating in an overly crowded ski lodge and for the same price you get great food. I've been here for just drinks and for lunch. The service was quick, nice and if you get in early enough, you can get a nice seat by the window with the view of the mountain. They were good and quick to seat my large group of 8 without any reservations. Good drink selection too. Would come back again for another lunch.

La Forge cannot be missed if you are anywhere close to the ski hill! It has great location and is very popular. Ambience and facilities are good, service is decent too. Food is mediocre. As a steakhouse, my medium-rare (on their recommendation — I normally go rare), was on the well side. Fortunately it was filet mignon, so didn’t get chewy. Disappointed in the French onion soup and the bone marrow portion was very small. Most likely would not be returning.

Seated fairly quickly given it was peak apres ski. Waited no less than 15 minutes. Aperol spritz was great. Poutine too. The goat cheese salad was delicious. Servers came around when they were able to as it was busy but we did not wait long for food/drinks once we ordered.

Réception décevante pour 14 personnes alors que la salle est moitié vide… d’autant que les tables qu’il était impossible de rapprocher pour notre groupe l’ont été à notre départ pour d’autres convives!

Enjoyed a nice lunch after skiing. Good selection and food.

We were a group of 20 for dinner and I have nothing but good things to say about our experience! We received exceptional service from Francois- attentive, witty and personable with excellent knowledge of the menu. The food was delicious, beautifully presented in a cozy atmosphere. Excellent wine selection. Martinis were on point!
Looking forward to returning.

Food was ready in 15 minutes. Both times we ate there! Steak and all. Patio has really warm heaters.

Horrible service from our waitress. Had to wait over 15 minutes for her to take our order and was very unpleasantly sarcastic about our questions. Then she became super rude because I tipped her only 2 dollars. Like I'm obligated to give her any tips at all no matter if the service was good or bad. Never had an encounter with a more entitled waitress.

Great steak bar and grill. Excellent service and friendly staff. Delicious steak and side options. Some sides were much more in portion size but overall all delicious

Most disappointing experience thus far at Mt Tremblant. Was seated at the bar and had completely inattentive service from two bored looking ladies. Will not return.

Great apres ski afternoon

Super service de .... je ne me souviens pas mais sans elle ouf... plus que ordinaire. Allez ailleurs que sur la place. Qualité assurée...

We ordered a Nachos and a few drinks, to start the nacho is 25$ so we expected a good size nacho, all we got is a a little bit of cheese and a few toppings, the rest was only plain chips with nothing, we even asked to have it redone, which is something I never do because I am always shy to complain at restaurants and it came back almost as empty. This was truly 25$ down the drain,This portion was worth 5$ at most, I will not being going back at this place.

We really enjoyed this place, the pork shank was awesome, and the smoke cheddar cheese mashed potatoes had great flavor with a nice crust on top.

Place dose not deserve one star. I would not feed mountain goat there or a wild animals.
Disgusting and customer service is horrible. orderd kids salmon for 18 dollars and got this .

Nice wee place, good service. Drinks probably a little bit steep. 4 drinks with tax and tip was like 90 bucks.

Fantastic food. Highly recommended oysters, tuna and salmon tartar and of course the mulled vine!! Cheers!!

Attention to those considering La Forge Bar and Grill in Mont Tremblant, QC: My recent experience here prompts me to share some important insights. Despite securing a reservation a month in advance, my party and I were subjected to an unexpected and lengthy wait time upon arrival—over half an hour, only to be told that we'd have to wait an additional 45 minutes to be seated. This situation was particularly disappointing given our anticipation and the effort to plan ahead. While I understand that restaurants can be unpredictable, the management of our reservation and the communication regarding the delay were significantly lacking. For those looking to dine here, please be aware of the potential for extended wait times, even with a reservation. I hope this account of my experience can help others make informed dining choices and encourage the establishment to address these service issues.

I am deeply disappointed to leave a review about our experience at La Forge Steakhouse. Despite making a reservation for a party of 9 a month in advance for 8:30 pm on a Saturday, our evening was a complete disaster. Upon arrival, we were asked to wait for 15 minutes, which we obliged. After patiently waiting, we were informed it would take an additional 15 minutes. Fine, we thought, things happen. However, when we returned after the second delay, we were shocked to hear that our table wasn't reserved at all. The manager casually mentioned that the people occupying "our table" would be leaving "soon." Not only were we left waiting without a reserved table, but when we questioned why our reservation wasn't honored, the manager had the audacity to claim it was because of their "resort style" seating policy. Resort style or not, a reservation made a month in advance should be respected and upheld. This flimsy excuse only added insult to injury, highlighting the establishment's lack of accountability and customer service. To add insult to injury, we left the restaurant a whopping 40 minutes after our reserved time with still no sign of food. Forty minutes past our reservation time, we were not only hungry but also utterly disappointed and frustrated by the lack of competence and professionalism displayed by La Forge Steakhouse. It's unacceptable to keep patrons waiting for such an extended period without any explanation or resolution. Our evening was effectively ruined by this abysmal experience, leaving us hungry, aggravated, and regretting ever choosing to dine at La Forge Steakhouse.

Great bison but the flank was overcooked. Bone marrow was great and the dessert was delicious. Amazing wine list. Overall a little expensive compared to similar establishments but since it’s at Mont-Tremblant the premium is justified. Service and ambiance are top notch.

Visited during the busy Family Day weekend. The restaurant was busy but service was prompt and the food was good. Overall a pleasant experience. A little overpriced, but to be expected in a tourist destination.
