HOTEL ROYAL WILLIAM

Great hotel, very spacious bathroom and bedroom. We got a wine for our honeymoon, very nice staff???? we'll visit again. Nearby is a very great cafe for breakfast and lot's of nice restaurants.

Really nice hotel, we had the most affordable room type offered and our room was VERY very spacious and was surprisingly stylish for the price (it was pretty budget friendly compared to other stays nearby). The hotel design is kind of art deco vibe, the lobby is an older style compared to the rooms upstairs. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean.

Near the lobby they had coffee, oranges/apples and yogurt available when we checked out at 5:00am. I think they offer a continental breakfast.

There is parking available in an underground garage directly across the street from the lobby doors, parking is $22 per night and just gets added to your room charge. To get into the garage you just pull your car up to the door and wait, they watch on a monitor to see if anyone is waiting to go in (it may be helpful to park right in front of the lobby doors, then check-in, and then let them know you have to go into the garage). At night they lock the doors to the building accross the street that has the elevator that goes down to the garage, so we had to ask the concierge to open the main garage door to access the garage early in the morning.

We brought our dog with us, the hotel is pet friendly and charges $40 to have a pet. We only stayed 1 night so I don’t know if it was a per night charge. We didn’t walk our dog near the hotel so I’m not sure if there was any green space nearby.

I would say the biggest downside was the lack of shower pressure (I had the rain shower on though and didn’t try the regular shower because the spout was too high on the wall for me to adjust). We also couldn’t get the tv to play anything but music (we likely could have just called down and asked for help but decided not to).

Place was quite large and spacious. Staff were all very kind. Room was clean, place looks modern, washroom clean. Room was a tad cold at night ... there was a tiny tiny heater but it is in the bathroom and couldnt heat anything up for the life of it, but the thick blankets was enough to keep warm throughout the night. Overall pleasant experience and would book again. Location is close enough to old Quebec and we just walked to the attractions. Some shops nearby if you need any items or food. Great place
