Jour 1: DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO MOSHI

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport, you will be warmly greeted by your driver guide, after short introduction you will be offered bottles of mineral water followed by a private transfer to Chanya Lodge for dinner and overnight. Depending on your arrival time, you will have good opportunity to explore the lodge`s surroundings.

Jour 2: DAY 02: DRIVE TO MKOMAZI PARK FOR TWO NIGHTS GAME DRIVES AND BIRD WATCHING

After breakfast, you will embark to Mkomazi national park for two nights game drives and bird watching tour.

Located on the border between Kenya and Tanzania, Mkomazi Park covers 3,234 km2, is part of the semi-arid Tsavo ecosystem and is little known to tourists. It nevertheless conceals faunal riches that are worth the detour: the Black Rhinoceros, the Cape Eland, the Hartebeest, the Grant's Zebra are among the mammals present, but also the rare African Wild Dog, a very endangered species that finds refuge here. The reserve is also a more than attractive destination for ornithologists, hosting up to 450 species of birds, including the magnificent Shelley's starling, the uncommon resident James's Chagra of semi-desert regions, the vulturine guinea fowl, and so many others. Our European Roller also has part of its winter quarters here. Dinner, and Overnight at Mkomazi Hotel.

Jour 3: DAY 02: FULL DAY GAME DRIVES AND BIRD WATCHING IN MKOMANZI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will embark to Mkomazi national park for two nights game drives and bird watching tour.

Jour 4: DAY 04: DRIVE TO ARUSHA PARK FOR GAME DRIVES, AND BIRD WATCHING TOUR.

In the early morning, and after breakfast, you will embark to Arusha national park for a wildlife safari, and bird watching. The smallest national park in Tanzania, this park covers only 137 km2 and surrounds Mount Meru, a volcano culminating at 4,566 m above sea level, and the second highest peak in Tanzania after Kilimanjaro visible from here. The Modela Lakes are known for their richness in birds: small waders, Ibis, Geese, and Flamingos find favorable conditions there. The park is also known for its wealth of monkeys, such as Guéréza colobus monkeys and diademed monkeys.

In the evening, drive to Africa Safari Arusha for dinner, and overnight.

Jour 5: DAY 05: DRIVE TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK FOR GAME DRIVES, AND BIRD WATCHING

After breakfast at your lodge, you will embark to Tarangire national park for game drives, game viewings, and bird watching tour. The Tarangire is one of the most beautiful parks in Tanzania...a landscape of extreme beauty and rich fauna guaranteed. Magnificent Baobabs abound in the northern part of the park. Here reigns the wooded savannah and the acacia is king. The Park is part of the immense ecosystem of the Masai steppe. The Tarangire River flows through the park and adds extreme charm to the landscape. It also obviously attracts all kinds of animals: elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas find food and shelter here. Jour 6: DAY 06: GAME DRIVES IN NGORONGORO CRATER TO CENTRAL SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Let's discover here the largest non-submerged caldera in the world, and its inhabitants. Herds of zebras, wildebeest and buffalo graze here in abundance, and hippos bask in the waters of Lake Magadi, fed by water streaming from the crater walls. Up to 400 species of birds have been counted there, and in particular we should see many raptors, including eagles, some of African origin, others from Europe. Later, ascend the crater walls, and drive further to central serengeti for dinner, and overnight at Tanzania Bush Camp. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Included.

Jour 7: DAY 07: GAME DRIVES, AND BIRD WATCHING IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Embark on an exhilarating adventure in Serengeti National Park, where the vast savannah comes alive with an array of wildlife during game drives and birding excursions. Start your day at sunrise, as the golden hues illuminate the landscape, enhancing your chances of spotting elusive predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs on the prowl. Traverse the iconic plains, witnessing the great migration of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. As you navigate through acacia-dotted terrain, keep an eye out for giraffes, elephants, buffalo, offering unparalleled opportunities for wildlife photography. Serengeti is also a haven for bird enthusiasts, with over 500 bird species calling it home. Scan the skies for the majestic African fish eagle, colorful lilac-breasted rollers, and the distinctive secretary bird. Jour 8: DAY 08: GAME DRIVES, AND BIRD WATCHING EN ROUTE TO LAKE NATRON

From the majestic African fish eagle to the vibrant lilac-breasted roller, the park is a haven for bird enthusiasts. Jour 9: DAY 09: BIRD WATCHING IN LAKE NATRON

Extend your avian adventure with an additional full day dedicated to bird watching at the picturesque Lake Natron. Awaken to the ethereal beauty of this alkaline lake, framed by the dramatic scenery of the Rift Valley. Spend the day exploring the diverse birdlife that calls Lake Natron home, with a particular focus on the striking flocks of flamingos wading through the soda-rich waters. The lake attracts a myriad of waterfowl, including pelicans and numerous species of herons, providing bird enthusiasts with a captivating spectacle. Against the backdrop of the Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano, capture the elegant silhouettes of these birds in the soft glow of sunrise and sunset, creating stunning photographic memories. Jour 10: DAY 10,: VISIT LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL THEN DRIVE BACK TO ARUSHA

In the early morning, and after breakfast, you will embark to Lake Manyara national park for bird watching, and game drives. Lake Manyara offers the best introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. There are More than 400 species inhabiting Lake Manyara National Park. Even a first-time visitor to Africa can reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. A big array of water-associated birds including pink-backed pelicans, herons and storks, sacred and glossy ibis, and black egret are easily seen around the hippo pool. When the water level is right, the lake is also home to thousands of pink-hued flamingo, but it isn’t usually possible to see the big flocks due to limited roads near the water’s edge. More than 50 birds-of-prey have been recorded including the crowned eagle and African hawk eagle. Later, drive back to Africa Safari Arusha for dinner, and overnight. Jour 11: DAY 11: AIRPORT DROP OFF

Today at leisure depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
