Dans cette famille, on est viticulteur de père en fils depuis 3 générations. Le vignoble d'une quinzaine d'hectares est travaillé avec réflexion et bon sens (VDC et HVE niveau 3). La Maison expédie plus de la moitié de sa production dans le monde entier, c'est dire si son succès est grandissant. L'accueil de la Maison est toujours chaleureux et permet de découvrir des caves centenaires, creusées sous 25 m de craie, d'une capacité de 3 millions de bouteilles qui vieillissent 48 mois minimum. La Maison possède également une très belle demeure composée de 5 chambres.

Set in a quiet pretty village about 10 mins out of epernay, we were welcomed into a charming well equipped studio room.|We particularly loved the mini bar in reception area where there were ice buckets, glasses and a variety of the guy Charbaut range to drink in the garden etc.|The evening meal with hosts and other guests was outstanding. |The bed was comfy, and after a great sleep we enjoyed a lovely breakfast.|Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, our haul of champers to take home and would love to return in the future.

Four years ago, we stayed at Guy Charbaut's for one night. We enjoyed a glass of champagne in the idyllic garden in the evening, after a walk along the water. Breakfast in the morning was copious and the visit of the cellars was extensive and vastly interesting. After the tasting four years ago, we went home with a car filled with delicious champagne. Four years later, we visited the champagne region again and Guy Charbaut was on our ‘must visit’ list. We did not make an appointment, although you can do so via the website, but we were welcomed with open arms anyway. Since we were already customers, we were allowed to taste for free and we once again went home with several boxes of their product. This is an address to make the most of: pair an overnight stay with a blissful evening in the garden with a bottle of champagne, and follow up on your breakfast with a visit and tasting. You won't regret it!

We had a fantastic tour and tasting with Ana. Very knowledgeable and we learnt so much. She answered all our questions and was very welcoming. The tour was so interesting and the wines were delicious. We bought a case of our favourites which were the blanc de blanc, the brut nature and the special selection. Exceptional champagnes. Merci bien Ana!

Had a lovely visit here, bit smaller producer with a good price range starting from approx 23 euro up to 70-80 per bottle.

Very acommodating for a spontaneous visit.

Enjoyed our tour and tasting a lot! The content was interesting and easy to understand. The whole thing lasted about 1.5hrs and was delivered in English. During the tasting you can choose 3 wines (2 non vintage, 1 vintage) to taste. May 2024 tour price was €10 and tasting was €12 per person. You can book online. I highly recommend!
