Not your typical touristy neighborhood, which is a good thing. It’s between the busy Marias area where many shops and boutiques are and Republique area which has many restaurants and cafes. The area is more on the younger side.
I would just recommend that they have espresso machines in the rooms, also too bad breakfast is not served until later on weekends.
Tekrar kalmayı düşünürüm.
Stayed in this hotel 2 weekends ago and only encountered issues!
After checking in and entering my room I noticed that the bed was poorly made and that the inside of the closet and surfaces were filthy, thick with dust and the floor under the sink had dust and other peoples hair… hard to believe for the price you pay!
After this I went out for diner, upon my arrival back to the hotel I find the person at the desk outside smoking and drinking what looked like a glass of whisky! Not very professional behaviour…
Following on to the next morning I go down for breakfast and was very underwhelmed with the breakfast spread, considering the price! Very basic and no gluten free options (we are in 2024) in a hotel of this caliber these things should be accessible….
Moving on to later on in the day I come back to my room around 3:30pm, having left at 10:30/11am to my room having not been visited by housekeeping! I was extremely disappointed to come back to my room as I left it concidering I’d been out all day. I called the lady at reception to ask if this was normal and what we could do to resolve this. I was told that housekeeping had gone for the day and there was nothing that could be done and that the person at the desk was alone for the night. No offer to provide a free drink or any compensation…
Later on that evening I came back to the hotel late at night after being out for diner. The hotel door was locked and no one answered the buzzer for 5 minutes, so I started knocking louder and looking around to see who’s there. Only to find the person who’s meant to be manning the desk fast asleep at the back of the lobby on the back bench (where guests are meant to eat breakfast).
I would never stay at this hotel again and would suggest you don’t either!!
