Situé en plein cœur de Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Le Christine est immanquable avec sa façade orange. Une table chic et sobre et un décor épuré, avec poutres et pierres apparentes. Si la clientèle est majoritairement étrangère, le restaurant n’en demeure pas moins une table de référence avec une cuisine traditionnelle mais revue et corrigée façon XXIe siècle et orchestrée par le chef Rémi Poulain que l'on voit travailler dans sa cuisine ouverte sur la salle. Sa carte est basée sur les saisons et le marché, et se décline en plusieurs menus. Si vous le pouvez, optez sans hésiter pour le service en 4 plats, dont le rapport qualité-prix est hors pair.

Overall 4 stars because the food was good and the staff was equally entertaining. As with any French restaurant don't be in a hurry to get through dinner that's just not going to happen, so relax and enjoy it.
Pros:
The food is great, can't miss really.
The staff was fun and attentive.
The price was typical of a middle tier Paris restaurant.
Cons:
BE VERY CAREFUL if you make a reservation and pre-pay.
I made my reservations a month early and the system booked me for the next night, not the night I selected 4 weeks later.
Because of this I "missed" my reservation and they tried to charge me for it. After 2 weeks of trying to explain what happened I disputed the charge with the credit card company and in the end the restaurant applied that as a credit on the night I actually was there. They NEVER offered to cancel the charge, or credit my card, boooo to the management.
So it worked out but it was a huge pain for me, it would have been easy to fix if they had just acknowledged that the system has a pretty major issue somewhere which they should figure out how to fix.
My advice? if you do not get an nearly immediate confirmation by email or text when you make a reservation then send them a note and tell them that you got no notification . I didn't do that, not that I should have to, and it nearly cost me 160 euros.
All in all I'd eat here again but I'd be especially cautious of the pre-payment, it's my only negative experience with them.

Of course, we regret the inconvenience encountered with your reservation. Although you made a mistake on the date of your booking, we still offered you a credit note, which you were able to use on the day of your visit. We have never had any problems with our booking software. There is a simple error in completing the requested date.
