Firstly, the customer service was appalling. The staff's attitude was not just unprofessional but outright rude. Their unwelcoming stares and overall negative demeanor set a poor tone right from the start.
A particularly distressing incident involved my elderly in-laws, both in their 70s. While I was parking our car, they were denied the basic courtesy of being seated. This lack of empathy and consideration for older customers was shocking.
The situation worsened when I arrived with my newborn in a stroller. The staff's comments about the size of the stroller were not only inappropriate but seemed to reflect an anti-baby policy, despite the restaurant being semi-empty. This was not only inconvenient but also made us feel unwelcome.
Given these circumstances, we decided to leave the restaurant immediately and have resolved never to return. It's disheartening to see such poor customer service, especially in a hospitality business. I hope this review serves as a warning to others considering dining at Le Weekend.
I ordered water for the table and he brought out a 5,50 euro botttle of water! It was a 500ml bottle of water and seriously 5,50 euro???? I looked at the other tables with locals and they all received tap water. Only the tourists got the expensive bottled water. The main point is that the waiter NEVER confirmed if you wanted tap water or not. Every place I’ve been to in France will automatically bring you tap water when you order it as it is the law that tap water must be free with a meal.
I ordered the steak medium, and it was served well done in some parts and medium well in some parts - check the photo. I raised my concerns with the same waiter , and without missing a beat he picks up my plate to show his boss and they were both arguing with me that it was medium! Really? You’re gonna look at that steak and argue with me that it’s cooked medium??? If you really thought so you shouldn’t be working in a restaurant.
Worst experience. Expensive horrible food. The service is atrocious. Intentionally ripping off people as much as they can.
