The 3 workers in the shop saw this and within 10 seconds they electronically retracted the canopy so that we couldn't get shelter. Which caused even more water to run off the canopy onto us. All 3 workers laughed as they thought it was extremely funny to watch all 4 of us get drenched.
This tells me all I need to know about the type of people that work here. No decency or kindness to others. Instead taking joy in seeing people, including small children in discomfort at their amusement.
Clearly horrible people. They are not worth your custom.
Updated in response to management.
Your employees are talking complete nonsense to lie to you and pretend that they aren't horrible people. They saw us standing there as my son accidentally banged against the front door as he was rushing to get out of the rain. Your staff then looked over at him doing this and watched as the 4 of us sought shelter. 5 seconds after this, by extremely strange coincidence your staff suddenly decided to retract the awning.
Your staff then met the glare of my eyes so. they knew full well we were there and found it all very amusing. They're just trying to save face now by lying about it but you should know, you have spiteful, petty people in your employment, who clearly have no genuine decency or honesty.
If you believe what they've told you, that it was some strange coincidence they happened to retract the awning and didn't actually see us. Then I have some chocolate teapots I would like to sell you.
I have nothing to gain from these comments.
