Impossible d'imaginer pareil lieu depuis la rue et soudain..Wow !!!
De sublimes espaces, uniques, cosy, originaux et parfaitement décorés, à intérieur comme à l'extérieur.
Un accueil des plus chaleureux qui dénote avec la grisaille actuelle, des petits plats savoureux, des sourires...
Un ravissement pour les yeux et pour l'âme, tout simplement.

Une maison chaleureuse décorée avec goût, Laurent et Corinne font tous pour que vous vous sentiez comme chez vous du petit déjeuner au coucher. Tout est réuni pour passer un bon séjour.

Maison rénovée et décorée avec goût.|Nos hôtes, Corine et Laurent, sont tout à fait exceptionnels et très attentionnés pour faire que notre séjour soit parfait.|Ils nous invitent dans leur chez soi avec une entière liberté. On s’y sent comme « à la maison ». La cour extérieure est invitante à la détente. Je vous recommande cette adresse, si vous aimez le contact humain plutôt que l’indifférence des hôtels.

From the moment we arrived, Corine and Laurent made us feel like part of the family. They took the time to talk with us and help us with anything we needed.
The house is designed so beautifully with a unique charm you won’t find anywhere else.
They also had the cutest and sweetest dog, Tungo, who we already miss!
This was the best stay and we could not be more thankful for the amazing owners and their hospitality!

We had a lovely four night stay. The home is beautiful and we felt very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. Laurent and Corine (not forgetting Tungo the dog) went above and beyond everyday to make us feel very comfortable.

Quick summary: very comfortable, clean, quiet room in a very charming, beautifully decorated town-house style hotel. Excellent breakfast and dinners on site - highly recommend to book at least one dinner here.|Easy walk to town center. Spa on site. Friendly, professional hosts and staff.||We stayed four nights here while touring the area. The hosts, Corinne and Laurent, could not be more welcoming and helpful - and great talent in the kitchen!||We stayed in room #1, Fleur d’Oranger, a spacious room with a very comfortable king bed. It overlooks the front street, but we were not bothered by any traffic noise. ||The room has ample space for your things - large chest of drawers, cupboard- closet. Large chaise lounge for relaxing.||The duvet was a bit too warm for us the first night, and the staff graciously changed it out for a lighter blanket. Bed linens and towels are of high quality.||The bathroom has a large walk-in tiled shower with a rain bath shower head. Shampoo/shower gel and body lotion are provided, and made especially for the spa and hotel in a light, delightful scent.||Waffle robes provided.||The HVAC is quiet and works very well, and controlled separately in each room. (Yes, we could have really cranked up the AC to make the room much cooler for the duvet, but a lighter blanket was a better answer.)||Wi-Fi works very well.||Parking is on the street or the large open-air lot across the street. There is a nominal charge M-F before 6 pm, ie no charge overnight or weekends.||The hotel is beautifully designed and decorated throughout the guest rooms, public rooms, and the walled garden in back. There is a separate courtyard building and pool, and lovely sitting areas among the back terrace and gardens.||The breakfast and dinners are very ample. Breakfast included perfect croissants, bread, often a tartine of some kind (salmon; ham), an egg dish, fresh fruit cup, freshly-squeezed juice, and good coffee (I’m tea is also available.). In the interest of not wasting food, you might advise Corinne about how much you want to eat.||Dinners here are expertly prepared, either real talent in the kitchen. These are 3-course (and often an amuse boule) menus where Corinne will ask if you prefer meat or fish for the main course. She will shop for this, plus the other fresh ingredients, and make a great meal. This was 60 euros when we were there. We had sea bass one night, and duck another - every course a winner.||Nice selection of wines by the bottle are extra, and reasonably priced.||Meals are served indoors and out as weather permits.||Wi-Fi works very well.||Parking is on the street or in the large lot on Rue Tourney. There is a nominal charge M-F before 6pm, ie free overnight and weekends.||It is an easy walk to the city center and other restaurants. You can rely on the hosts for good restaurant recommendations.||Sunday is market day in town. Libourne is a nice alternative to busy, touristy St. Emillion.||Due diligence: there is no elevator, but staff are helpful with baggage up the stairs. Also: there is an adorable small dog in house.||We highly recommend this hotel. We’d love to stay again if in the area.

We had such a nice time at maison Mulato. All of the details in this home are so cared for and beautiful. The experience of staying here was really special, felt luxury and cozy at the same time. Short drive to the old town of Saint Emilion. Thank you Corinne and Laurent! We will be back ✨

I had a wonderful stay at La Maison Mulatô. From the moment I walked in, Laurent gave me a warm welcome and tour of the hotel. My room was perfect - very airy, so tastefully decorated and cozy at the same time.

The breakfast is served in their lovely gardens, which transport you into true vacation mode, with a swimming pool, lounge chairs and various spots to relax (along with the fluffy house guest Tango, who is sure to warm up to you!)

I also took advantage of the add-on hour of the spa, which include use of the private pool and sauna - perfect after doing some biking in nearby vineyards !

To top it off, I had a wonderful dinner during my last evening with a cute table setup in the gardens - with a dinner that I would’ve gone to again over a restaurant - it was that good!

A special shoutout to Corinne and the lovely ladies of La Maison Mulatô who all made sure to take special care of all of the guests and made me feel at home.

If I am in the area in the future, I would stay here without a doubt!

Que dire à part que tout était parfait. Vous arrivez dans une maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût et un accueil plus que chaleureux. Les chambres sont spacieuses et encore une fois très bien décorées. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse était très bon et copieux.

Jeg havde fornøjelsen af at bo på det charmerende lille hotel, La Maison Mulato, og det var en uforglemmelig oplevelse. Dette hotel er et sandt gemmested med en utrolig hyggelig atmosfære, hvor den høje service virkelig skiller sig ud. Personalet er ekstremt imødekommende og sørger for, at du føler dig hjemme fra det øjeblik, du træder ind ad døren.||Morgenmaden er fantastisk med et bredt udvalg af lækre retter, der sikrer en god start på dagen. Aftensmaden er lige så imponerende og byder på velsmagende retter, som virkelig viser køkkenets kvaliteter.||Hotellet er indrettet med fantastiske detaljer, der gør det til en fryd for øjet. Hvert hjørne af La Maison Mulato har sin egen unikke charme, og det er en oplevelse i sig selv at gå på opdagelse i deres have. Haven er smukt dekoreret med kunstneriske detaljer, der gør den til et perfekt sted at slappe af og nyde omgivelserne.||Jeg kan varmt anbefale La Maison Mulato til alle, der søger en hyggelig og mindeværdig oplevelse med fremragende service og fantastiske madoplevelser. ||Dette hotel er et absolut must-visit!

Un accueil très chaleureux dans un cadre années 30 parfait, nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à la maison Mulato, nous y retournerons avec plaisir à l' occasion. Le petit déjeuner est incroyable.

Tout simplement parfait de l’accueil, aux services, aux chambres, aux plats préparés avec amour par les hôtes charmants ! Nous avons profité d’une parenthèse idyllique dans ce poétique écrin magnifiquement décoré !

Nous avons été subjugué par la beauté des lieux et l’accueil des propriétaires… Sans nul doute l’une des plus incroyable expérience maison d’hôtes ! Un immense merci à Corinne, Laurent, Sou et la mascotte Tango… Sans aucune hésitation, allez y les yeux fermés, vous y découvrirez une atmosphère comme nul part ailleurs, des senteurs, un petit déjeuner formidable, un confort absolu et volupté… Nous vous conseillons vivement cette pépite, nous mieux, nous y retournerons…

The beauty of this private mansion, redecorated with Corinne's exquisite taste, offers beautiful, comfortable rooms. What can we say about the welcome from Corinne and Laurent, and their entire team, other than that everything is perfect and warm. Maison Mulatô est idéalement placée, aussi bien pour visiter les vignobles alentours que pour vous rendre facilement au cœur de Bordeaux (20 min de TER à 5 min à pied) et pour profiter de la charmante ville de Libourne. La beauté de cet hôtel particulier, redécoré avec le goût exquis de Corinne, offre des chambres belles et confortables. Que dire de l'accueil de Corinne et Laurent, et de toute leur équipe, sinon que tout est parfait et chaleureux. Quant à la qualité des petits déjeuners et des diners... il faut les tester pour le savoir! Table d'hôtes d'exception!

From beginning to end we had a wonderful experience at Maison Mulatô. Our charming and engaging hosts Corrine and Luarent were so welcoming and accommodating. Corrine and Sue are culinary masters creating fresh, light and creative dishes that were as pleasing on the eye as they were in the mouth!
The beautiful building has been revitalised with great care and attention to detail, the interior design is stunning. We will be back!

Incredible bed and breakfast in Libourne. The hostess, host, pets, and hotel are extremely welcoming and generous. Breakfast was delicious. We spent an entire morning in the Spa and it was one of the best ever!

My daughter and I had an amazing few days here — wish we could have stayed longer! Laurent and Corine made us feel like we were not just guests, but new friends. We were totally blown away by the food! Gourmet breakfasts and a dinner to rival any top restaurant. Corine has a wonderful sense of design and all the rooms/living areas reflect that attention to detail. Our room looked out at the beautiful garden, with a swimming pool and spa. Location is perfect for exploring the area and it’s only a 5-10 minute walk to the center of Libourne. Parking on the street in front of the hotel is plentiful and is only about 3-4 euro for the day. We highly recommend you make this part of your itinerary. We can’t wait to return!

We stayed at La Maison Mulato for three nights while touring the Bordeaux region. Corine and Laurent warmly welcomed us into their grand, luxurious home with high ceilings and gorgeous art. Our suite was bright, airy and spacious. The bed was comfortable, we relaxed in the seating area in the evenings and loved the large, modern bathroom. We enjoyed coffee in our suite each morning and were greeted with a sumptuous breakfast downstairs. The hosts and staff gave great advice on nearby activities. We’ll certainly visit La Maison Mulato again and highly recommend it to all.

Nous avons passé un moment absolument délicieux a la Maison Mulato. Tout est parfait, l'accueil de Corinne et Laurent est magique. La décoration de la maison est extraordinaire, un vrai magazine de déco avec ce qu'il faut de personnel. l'ambiance musicale et olfactive est divine. le petit dejeuner est a tomber ( je conseille les croissants / pain au chocolat ou chocolatine ! , l’omelette etc....). Les chambres sont parfaites.
Le stationnement est très facile et la situation est parfaite proche du centre ville.
Les extérieurs et aménagements sont magiques, la météo de ce weekend n’était pas au rendez vous mais hâte d'y retourner pour en profiter.
En bref, nous y reviendrons évidement!

Nous avons passé deux nuits dans le magnifique appartement de la cours arrière, quelle belle endroit très bien décoré. Idéal pour une petite famille avec deux chambres une grande salle de bain et un petit coin cuisine au premier étage. Le petit déjeuner était plus que parfait et très copieux! Et que dire de nos hôtes, des gens avenants et d’une très grande gentillesse! Merci encore pour l’accueil!

Voilà une belle maison d’hôte, non seulement parce que la rénovation de cette belle demeure praticienne de Libourne bien située à été rénovée avec goût et inspiration mais aussi parce que ses propriétaires ( Corine & Laurent) vous accueillent avec toute la chaleur et la naturelle bienveillance que l’on réserve aux familiers. L’appartement Jasmin que nous avons loué pour le WE était d’un grand confort et pratique . La clef de cet appartement (au fond du jardin) ouvre l’accès aux deux grandes chambres tout autant qu’à une entrée séparée indépendante. Mais à quoi bon l’indépendance tant il est agréable de faire un brin de causette avec les maîtres de maison ou pomponner Tango, le chien de la maison (qui n’en demande pas moins). Le petit déjeuner est servis dans une des pièce à vivre donnant sur le jardin et sa qualité est à l’unisson de la maison, original et inspiré. Est-ce que nous y retournerons? Oui sans hésitation ! Parce qu’il reste à piquer une tête dans la piscine du jardin, profiter du spa, prendre un soin prodigué par Élodie (Ostéopathe D.O.), voir de combien a grandis la belle Langa (9 mois) et enfin reprendre la conversation avec Corine et Laurent ! À tout bientôt….

Très beau logement. Maison de ville joliment restaurée, complexe bien entretenu, belles chambres, hospitalité exceptionnelle, délicieux petit déjeuner, tout simplement top !

La maison Mulatô est une très belle demeure, rénovée avec beaucoup de goût et de soin pour créer une atmosphère cool et relax, calme et naturelle, beaucoup plus sincère et authentique que ce que proposent généralement les hôtels aux mêmes promesses.
Corine et Laurent sont chaleureux, sympas et très accueillants... à l'image de la maison.
Le petit déjeuner est un grand petit déjeuner, varié, créatif et complet.

Belles personnes, bel endroit que je recommande à deux ou en "en bande", à considérer aussi pour des mini-séminaires professionnels.
