Pitch size was good, but overall the facilities on pitch were poor. Washing machines should be in a separate room. Better food outlets. Overpriced camping.

Ed. Response to the owner, I clearly stated that the pitch was a good size, but the drainage connection was underneath a heavy stone slab and yes there was water and electricity but a more modern terminal for all services would have been better for older users. The point made regarding the washing machines is very simple, the machines are in a room with hot water cylinders which means you have to lock them up for safety sake, if they were moved away into another area or room there would be no need to lock them up. I've not seen washing machines or dryers locked up in 25 years of camping. In fact a municipal site we visited has the same machines with an honesty box with a charge of only 2€.
The comments made should be viewed as constructive criticism, as most would see these items as obvious issues that can be rectified quite easily, but as with other slightly negative reviews here the owner is immediately on the defensive instead of responding with "we appreciate your comment and will aim to make improvements".

J’étais venu en 2013 ! 11 ans se sont écoulé je suis repassé en coup de vent sa a bien changé un de mes coups de cœur ce camping ! Pascaline et son mari de très belles personnes. Pascaline est à l’écoute des gens du camping en cas de besoin toujours présent ça fait vraiment plaisir !

Diese Campingplatz ist eine absolute Empfehlung wert! Saubere Sanitäranlagen, ruhige Stellplätze - mit viel Sonne oder wahlweise auch Schatten, unser Hund war absolut willkommen und als Ausgangspunkt für viele Wanderungen ideal! In der Touristinfo im Ort aber auch am Campingplatz bekommt man viele Wandervorschläge in Französisch und Englisch. Das Schwimmbad ist der Hammer - nur noch zu toppen von der Chilling Area . Und regelmäßig gibt es Aktuonen, wie Weinproben oder auch Pizza auf den Steinogen von Foodtruck - so wird Urlaub buchstabiert: Clos de la Chaume ????

Personnel très aimable, emplacement/ grands, espace détente, piscine : la recette pour des vacances parfaites, merci pour vôtre accueil chaleureux et à très bientôt !

Nos avons passer une semaine dans ce Camping très calme, chemin pied nu à revoir, sanitaire très propre, jolie petite rivière, que mon petit fils à adoré jouer dedans, par contre à tout les campeurs, n'oubliez pas de trier vos déchets

Personnel très sympathique, ce qui est bien c'est que tous les jours il y a une animation de l'extérieur vente de produits alimentaires

Bien Trop cher , emplacement correct mais manque d amabilité, rien sur place pour dépanner en épicerie, pas de bar ni restaurant, eau pour faire la vaisselle Très tiède limite froide par contre douche bouillante, nous ne reviendrons pas , ne mérite vraiment pas les 3 étoiles

Mooie pittoreske camping!
Team zeer vriendelijk en spreekt zeer goed Engels. Worden dingen georganiseerd zoals wijnproeverij, patat/wafels/pizzabus.
Om rekening mee te houden: 1 centraal gelegen toilet groep (verdeeld over 2 gebouwen) als je dus vanaf de entree gezien links achterin gaat staan moet je een stuk lopen naar de toiletten/douches. Als je in de nacht niet zo veel maan hebt, neem een zaklamp mee. Er is geen oriëntatie verlichting buiten het centrale deel.
Zwembad (overdekt) van 12,5 meter, bij ca.6 meter.

Camping calme, propre et agréable
Tout était parfait

Mooie en fijne camping van alle gemakken voorzien. Zwembad is heerlijk en ook de rust in de avond. Overdag veel te doen en te beleven, beekje is voor de kinderen prachtig om te spelen.
In de avond is het prachtig donker om sterren te kijken, maar de weg is moeilijker te vinden. Een paar extra prachtige lampen van @solarwoodle zouden een goede aanvulling zijn.

Met douchen is het een beetje behelpen, de ene is vrij warm, de andere koud en ook de watertoevoer wisselt regelmatig in harde en zachte stralen.

In de omgeving prachtige wandelroutes en activiteiten.

Très bon petit camping. Tout est propre. Nous avons eut un très bon séjour dans ce camping.

Wat een heerlijke vakantie hebben we weer gehad. Een camping waar kinderen met lol en plezier met elkaar spelen. Zoek je een camping met alles er op en er aan? Nee, dan moet je niet hier zijn. Hoewel de faciliteiten hier gelimiteerd zijn hebben onze kinderen de tijd van hun leven gehad (alweer!!!). De eigenaren zijn super aardig en aanspreekbaar!! Ze willen niets anders dan jouw verblijf geweldig maken. Niet voor niets zin we2 jaar op rij hier gekomen. Of we volgend jaar eer komen? Wie weet??? Wat we wel weten, we komen ZEKER nog een keer terug. Raphael en Philippine; bedankt voor (wederom) een heerlijke vakantie! You rock!

We zaten in de chalets met eigen hottub. Ze zijn vrij nieuw en op zich prima. Leuk om elke avond fikkie te stoken. Ook leuk dat er veel dingen worden georganiseerd, zoals een avondwandeling, circus, etc. Regelmatig staat er ‘‘s avonds iets waar je wat eten kan afhalen. Verder heeft de eigenaar Rafael veel goeie tips om in de omgeving te doen. Minder leuk vonden we de vele vliegen die binnen kwamen, dus neem je vliegenmepper mee als je hierheen gaat.

Prachtige goed onderhouden camping met hele vriendelijke eigenaren die altijd klaarstaan met een lach. spreken ook goed engels.
Plekken zijn ruim, hebben schaduw maar ook veel plekken zonder schaduw. Grote camping maar door de 2 ingangen merk je dit niet qua autos en drukte.

Toiletgebouw; aan de kleine kant en ver lopen. Waterdruk is laag en daardoor weinig water om te douchen als er meerdere mensen tegelijkertijd douchen of wc's doorspoelen. Ondanks dat wel goed onderhouden en schoon.
Genoeg animatie te doen voor de kinderen op de camping maar ook voor volwassenen worden er leuke dingen georganiseerd.

Excelente ubicación, los bosques y pueblos son los más bonitos que hemos visto! El espacio para la tienda y junto al arroyo nos permitió un buen descanso. Disfrutamos la piscina, las actividades, la pizza y los gofres! Muy buena atención de todos en francés e inglés. Volveremos! Merci beaucoup pour tout!

Leuke camping, goede gastheer en gastvrouw! Staanplaatsen voor tent zijn wel wat klein (al zijn er ook grotere plekken). Geen echte animatie maar genoeg te doen voor kinderen. Leuk dat er veel gezinnen met jonge kinderen waren waardoor mijn kinderen veel vriendjes en vriendinnetjes hadden. Ook leuk dat er in de buurt leuke meren zijn om te zwemmen.

Prima camping met veel rust. Er worden af en toe wat activiteiten georganiseerd en een aantal dagen in de week kun je eten krijgen (wraps, pizza en patat). Het sanitair was goed schoon over het algemeen, maar er waren weinig douches en wc's voor het aantal mensen dat op de camping stond. Daarnaast waren de douches of heel heet, of koud. Het afwaswater was ook vaker koud dan warm. De WiFi bij de tent is vrij duur, maar wel snel. Op de gemeenschappelijke speelplaats kun je 60 min gratis gebruikmaken van de WiFi. Zorg dus voor een grote databundel :)
Al met al; een mooie camping voor een kleine prijs, maar wel met wat kleine aandachtspuntjes.

Mooie en leuke camping. Schoon sanitair en behulpzame mensen.

I can overall not recommend this campsite.

The owner is rude and the facilities are not very good or hygienic.

My wife and kids bought icecreams from the small store paying a girl who working there.
Upon leaving the store (my wife was now 20 meters down the road) the campsite owner yelled that she took the icecreams strongly implying she hadn't paid. The girl in the shop showed him the money and they started laughing/smiling. He didn't even say sorry for the mistake and it wasn't a fun experience especially when our kids was also there.

The facilities are not very good or hygienic in the sense that:
The old showers only have an on/off function which can't be adjusted in temperature. Resulting in our kids refusing to wash themselves because it was too hot.
We later found out that you can shower in an new'ish building close to where temperature could be adjusted. It can't get that warm but it's much better.

The water for washing dishes was not very warm. We instead went to the old shower to get the hot water to wash the dishes with. I think maybe it has something to do with not enough water was being used so cold water from the pipes were being used.

The toilets have toilet brushes hanging on the wall resulting in toilet water dripping from the brush to the floor which gathers on the floor. It's not very hygienic and our youngest kid got hers pants wet from the toilet water when she put her pants down to her angles.

When I gave the owner feedback regarding the toilet brushes he got very argumentative blaming customers and kids in the past who play with the brushes as well as the cups from the brushes get filled too quickly (even though he told me that they clean 3 times a day).
He also said the neighboring 5* campsite also hangs brushes on the wall which isn't true as I checked the day after. Also it is a 4 stars site.
Maybe it's a French thing having brushes on the wall as we haven't seen it before in either Germany, Poland, Austria, Italy, Czech Republic or Denmark and it was our first time in France.
We ended up in a bit of a discussion and it wasn't very professional. Like come on... We're talking feedback on toilet brushes!

He also started complaining about customers doesn't treat the facilities very nicely/like home (which I on a general basis agree with) and that customers who go to the toilet only washes hand 2 out of 10 times. I'm unsure what it had to do with toilet brushes hanging on the wall.

If only he could just have taken the feedback with a polite "thank you for the feedback" whether he agreed with me or not.

He also accused me of not being from the campsite because I had a wristband from the neighboring campsite and raised his voice quite a lot.. It was due to our friends staying on that campsite and we visited them a lot.
He literally told me he didn't want feedback from someone who wasn't a customer and wanted me to come to the reception to prove we were paying customers asking for specific details to prove it.
He raised his voice quite a lot which was very uncomfortable.

The owner honestly seems to be in the wrong line of work... It's hard to believe they/their family have owned the campsite for 30 years with such terrible customer handling skills.

It was very uncomfortable and my blood was boiling afterwards. If we hadn't already paid for the entire duration of our stay we would have found somewhere else to stay for the remainder of our trip.

Luckily we met a lot of polite and nice French during our stay... The girl and boy who worked at the campsite was always smiling and polite.

Best thing about the campsite is that it's rather small and isn't very noisy. I'm guessing it caters mostly to families with small children and elders who don't want the noise.

I was contemplating 2 or 3 stars but ultimately decided on 2 stars as the incidents with the owner wasn't a plesent experience as well as the facilities were worse than what I would expect.
Had the owner not acted this way I would probably have given 3 stars and if the facilities were better even 4 stars.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment en famille.
Logement était nickel.
Propriétaires dévoués et tjs a l écoute.
Super activités et notamment le cirque pour les enfants.
Les services proposés aux clients sont bien organisés et appropriés à la clientèle ( frite, pain, pizza...)
Nous recommandons vraiment ce camping pour les familles.

Wij komen net terug van een fijne 10 dagen op deze camping. (Kinderen 5 en 9). Heerlijke overzichtelijke camping met voldoende speelgelegenheid en een leuke beek. In de omgeving is heel veel moois te zien en leuks te doen. Sanitair wordt geregeld schoongemaakt en is over het algemeen goed schoon.
Campingeigenaren zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam indien nodig.

Excellent camping pour notre première dans les Vosges. Étant un couple avec un enfant en bas âge nous avons appréciés l’équipement sanitaire pour notre enfant, la propreté général du camping, le lieu, proche de nos endroits de visite ainsi que la piscine couverte qui est un plus en période estivale. Le plus aurait été d’avoir une terrasse couverte (au lieu du parasol) et un peu plus d’espace vert sur la parcelle. Sinon rien à dire nous avons aussi bien adoré la camping en lui même que la région, nous allons très sûrement revenir dans la région et par la même occasion dans ce camping.

2 ème passages chez vous et vraiment un plaisir à chaque fois...

Campingplatz sehr ruhig gelegen, netter Empfang (trotz Ankunft in der Mittagszeit), unkomplizierte Anmeldung, große Parzelle unter wunderschönen Bäumen, kleiner Bachlauf, netter Fußweg in den Ort, Schwimmbad vorhanden.... einfach sehr entspannend und ruhig.
Gute Ausgangslage für tolle Wanderungen und zur Route des Cretes.
