Bonne cuisine italienne

Le restaurant est petit et les tables sont serrées, on y va pour la cuisine italienne qui est très bien exécutée, bons vins également, service aléatoire et pas toujours aimable, dommage ! On peut aussi dîner dehors

What an absolute treat! Now and again, you come across an absolute little gem of a place, after a bunch of disappointments. Mamalu is exactly that. Attentive, friendly service expertly managed by the owner's brother, piping hot main courses - I don't think I've ever had such a good rendition of meat lasagna - served by a very competent Italian owner/chef, excellent ambiance and a lovely chat with them all at the end of the evening. I will definitely be going back! Grazie mille Mamalu

Restaurant très chouette, intimiste et convivial.
La nourriture est au top en terme de quantité et de qualité.
Nous avons pris des pâtes aux palourdes et un vitello tonnato, un très bon vin comme on l'aime et un tiramisu
J'y retournerai sans doute.

Authentic and brilliantly tasty !

The ambiance is super romantic and cozy
Dim lighting and jazz music with art everywhere
Service is friendly and efficient

Now the dish to go for is definitely
Linguini Al frutti di mare
I asked for extra spicy
Not disappointed and the portion is very generous and at 25 euros for the dish
The sea food is indeed in the plate not empty shells like in many tourist trap kind restaurants

Tolles kleines Restaurant, feine und frische italienische/französische Küche mit super Service und einladendem Flair & Deko. Durch die offene Küche kann man dem Chefkoch zuschauen, der sein Handwerk zu 100 Prozent liebt und konzentriert wunderbare Gerichte zaubert. Must try!

What a fantastic restaurant the food was excellent in fact the best ever Lasagne I have ever had. They even managed well during an electric power outage that affected the whole area. Unfortunately, it is our last night here. Otherwise, I would be back tomorrow. One warning is that to make sure you get a table pre book as we were extremely lucky to get in.

Incredible food. Without question, the best lasagna I’ve ever had. Tried to eat here 2 nights in a row, but was not able to get a reservation for the 2nd night. 10/10 would eat here again.

It was our last night in antibes. What a great way to end it. The food was delicious. To sit in the small cafe and just watch the people on the street walk by as we started our meal with salmon capriese & mozzarella with roasted vegetables was heavenly. Definitely recommend the lasagna boulinaise and beef filet. My wife & daughter had the asparagus pasta & the carbonara with truffle. Both were outstanding. Pasta can be made gluten free - delicious. Very cozy, beautiful place to dine. Reservation recommended - we tried to walk in last night but they were full.

Amazing gluten free pasta, not sure if it’s also homemade but tasted that way! Would book in advance as we didn’t get in our first try. Also we’re told max 4 per table so our group or 5 split up into two tables.

Would highly recommend booking in advance as it gets very busy! We were very lucky to get a table! The service was great, lovely atmosphere and the food was prepared quickly and tasted delicious. They were very accomodating to my dietary restrictions and offered GF pasta alternative to their spaghetti vongole! Great visit in Antibes!

bestes essen in antibes, das frisch im restaurant zubereitet wird. das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. allerdings gibt es leider nur sehr wenige Plätze, daher sollte man eher am frühen Abend hingehen, wenn man das schöne Ambiente und leckeres Essen genießen möchte. es lohnt sich definitiv!

Great wait staff service and nice meals but they took over two hours to arrive. Real shame as the staff were so friendly. The red wine (Montipulciano) was quite rough, couldn’t drink much of it.

Once you have placed orders, the owner will treat you with no respect!

Second time we ate there, second time the woman owner made us regret our choice of restaurant. When you usually expect good food + receiving good servive...at Mamalu's, forget it!! That combination is impossible! The owner's cognitive behaviour is just not acceptable, agressivity and doubt are not what we expected when we let them know the waitress did not bring what we had ordered -it occured after 1 hour waiting-! I want to mention we are French ordering in French, in a French restaurant: so...no language problem involved. That's too bad because food they serve is quite good, for the area. Last dinner at Mamalu's!

Très bon petit resto italien où nous n'avons jamais été déçus, tenu par un sympathique couple d'Italiens. Les spaghettis à la vongolé sont à recommander. Tout est frais et préparé devant vos yeux.
