Excellent repas. Accueil très très sympathique
Une bonne soirée
A recommander
We took the duck and the cod for dinner.
Both tasted great, the price was right and the service was good too… a combination that is very difficult to find in highly touristic small coastal towns, specifically when the restaurant is not owned by the chef. The vichyssoise brought first was delicious as well.
We didn’t have to wait long for our dishes to come.
It is situated in one of the narrow pedestrian old town streets and is almost hidden from the beaten path. It is definitely a destination and is worth the climb!
Most of the tables are outside. At night the multitude of small lights outside contribute to the beauty and quaintness. We sat inside. It is a very old (~200 years) traditional building with high ceilings, painted in white and wooden beams beautifully renovated. One wonders how the restaurant managed to set up its tables so beautifully outside in such narrow and sloppy streets.
The facilities were clean and surprisingly spacious for such an old building.
There are no dedicated parking (narrow pedestrian roads in the old town duh!). The public parkings around were all full. The vichyssoise brought first was delicious as well. We struggled to find one at around 9PM. We went around the same loop three times before ending up parking illegally in the street !
A place where you just wanna come back!
The service is highest level you can imagine with the loveliest and funniest staff. A lot of smile, fun and laughter making the atmosphere relaxed and sublime. You just feel at home here!
Candle lights and roses at the tables.
The food (I had both starter, main course and dessert) and the wine was simply top notch and at very reasonable prices.
I will definitely be back and my warmest recommendations go to this place! ????????????????????
