(Referring to the below response : we were even charged when I was ill and a a couple of pieces of fruit were brought by my wife to my room - it might be written in a manual but most places we stay are a lot clearer on price on check in and adding it to our stay. Also 5euros for a camomile tea without a priced bar menu. I don’t think you are transparent on pricing. This is my opinion, it was not made clear enough. I think my review is fair) Room was spotless and really nice. Location very good, close to the Pleney and a bus to Avoriaz. Pool and sauna are ok. Service was good however they are not transparent about breakfast costs. (Not mentioned during check in ect) £22 euro per person per day for breakfast is very high,(and not worth it) so they should have been crystal clear on this, especially when most mornings we are getting a coffee and fruit and they are hoping to get your room number down. I am aware this information is available when booking (a year ago) however I even emailed about the possibility of breakfast being added just before the stay and this wasn’t mentioned either. Overall the stay was good but adding £400 to our bill at check out soured the stay, so if you are booking be very careful on this.

Une adresse que l’on voudrait garder pour soi…et ses très proches tellement on l’aime. À la Bergerie c’est tout un art de Caroline et Éric pour vous recevoir, dans une atmosphère familiale, chaleureuse, discrète, feutrée et authentique. On se sent tout de suite comme à la maison, le havre de paix et la quiétude en plus, les enfants disparaissant rapidement pour aller jouer entre eux dans la salle de jeux, la magnifique piscine chauffée avec 1 vue imprenable sur les montagnes ou pour faire une partie d’échecs ou backgammon en famille. La situation au coeur du village est idéale, à pieds des remontées mécaniques et commerces. Le plus, la table d’hôtes réservée aux enfants pendant que vous prenez un drink au bar en la bonne compagnie d’Eric et Caroline en attendant votre délicieux repas, équilibré et local, préparé avec amour par Caroline. Nous sommes venus skier l’hiver, nous ressourcer près de la cheminée ou le chat ronronne, et avons eu la joie de découvrir un univers tout aussi enchanteur l’été, dédicace au chien de famille Jeep, douce basset hound, que les enfants aiment tant. En 1 mot, merveilleux. Merci Caroline et Éric de mettre autant de vous et d’amour dans votre métier. À bientôt.

Stayed here for a week on a family holiday and was fantastic. Location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the heart of Morzine but what makes the place.

Eric was brillaint the whole stay helping us with any request he was extremely helpful. Wither it was the times of buses or activities to do for a rainy day Eric was on hand to help us.

The dinner which Caroline cooked was 2nd to none, lovely home cooked French cuisine with the option of a children's table is a fantastic idea.

The real star of the show is the hotel dog Jeep which can keep the children entertained for hours!

Would highly recommend this hotel.
