Highly recommend!
The staff can be very rude. Don't try to make request to get early and drop your bags because they don't allow it before 3 pm. They offer that you leave your belongings near the check in area but is unlock and therefore isn't safe to me. They close at 10 pm and open at 8 am so we had to open the gate for the car manually and since reception was closed at 7:20 am, I had to leave the keys in the room. Actually the lady came out in the reception area since we were calling via phone and she said we could leave the room keys there in the bar area... which it was very uncomfortable suggestion. Finally, the room had the AC on top of the king bed and we were cold during the night because is too hot for turn off the AC. Is not a good location for the elderly.
The check-in was smooth, the staff was very helpful, the room was spacious for 4 of us, and the rooftop bar was great and reasonably priced.
We were especially relieved to find that there was plenty of free parking in the courtyard.
Valladolid is a lovely, authentic Mexican city, which was quite refreshing after visiting Cancun and Riviera Maya.
