Lovely location with wonderful staff.
The pools are amazing, each with its own personality. We loved the beach. Specially at sunrise.
The beautiful plants, trees, little birds and even the stray dogs are a plus.
We found kayaking and pedalo to be a little space restricted, but one can still have fun.
Snorkelling is great and I would have gone every single day if I could.
Food was good, my favourite was TabaJ. Not only you get to try Mauritian street food, Permal will tell you how to eat it, what it’s good for and you get to learn a bit of Creoule.
5 stars to Deepesh and Brad, father and son that not only sell lovely handcrafts on the beach, they will teach you things about Mauritian Culture, Food and Nature. Brilliant.
And finally, the service, the Family Members. Special mentions to:
Ika for setting our birthday table and always remembering us.
Nathalie for provide towels after the Cabana’s closing time.
Anais for welcoming us, she was our first impression, taught us the meaning of the hand on heart.
Lily was our tour guide and always checking if we were okay every single day.
Pratamesh for Waves bar.
Reshna for the best Mauritian tea preparation.
Carine for answering all my questions about La Sega.
Finally Raja, hotel manager, for the attention and making me feel really special on my birthday!

I can’t recommend this place enough, had a fantastic time. Came with my freind and we both enjoyed our stay. From the super freindly staff, the scenery, the rooms, the food, entertainment, everything was just perfect. I especially enjoyed the sports, the aqua gym and beach volleyball. That guy keswar made exercise seem fun..: especially the dance moves. If you planning on visiting Mauritius, look no further.

Das Lagoon Attitude ist ein super Hotel. Wir sind noch immer hier und begeistert von der Schönheit des Hotels. Der Manager Rubens Maureemootoo macht mit seinem gesamten Team einen super Job . Von der Putzfrau , Service im restaurant, der Bar und Rezeption ist alles perfekt organisiert. Frühstück und Restaurants ein super essen. Wir kommen gerne wieder und genießen noch die nächsten Tag in einem Super Resort. ;-)

You have to try the Ala carte Restaurant Kot Nou - Traditional Mauritian Kitchen served with joy by friendly staff (Reena & Permal) on the beach of the Hotel. Was my best food experience on Mauritius ????

is a #quiet and #beautiful #resort #adultonly. The #buffet #food is #excellent and had a #wide #variety of #options with different themed nights.The #people working in the #hotel are so kind and will always give you their best. Abbiamo passato la settimana tra il 26 settembre e il 5 ottobre in questo hotel, la struttura e’ bellissima immersa nel verde, non c’è un metro di terreno dove non ci siano piante, sembra essere in una foresta di piante tropicali, davvero molto bello… le camere sono essenziali pulite curate nell’estetica, non ho avuto particolari problemi solo la busta della lavanderia che ha impiegato 2 giorni ad arrivare ma niente di che…. La cucina e’ buona ho mangiato prevalente cibo delle zone quindi tanto pesce verdure sia crude che cotte etc… ogni giorno il menù cambia e c’è così tanta scelta che e’ impossibile non trovare qualcosa di propio gusto, c’è anche l’angolo per vegani… il wi-fi e’ eccezionale prende ovunque nel villaggio a velocità adeguate, e’ possibile anche vedere streaming se si vuole non ci sono problemi… ho preso una sim in aeroporto ma avrei potuto farne a meno…. Quando arrivate in camera vi suggerisco di accendere il televisore scorrere in menu dell’hotel e vedere le attività che propongono potrebbero esserci escursioni interessanti come la crociera in catamarano, oppure potete vedere i servizi della SPA etc…. Il personale e’ gentile cordiale e sempre disponibile per quando si va via hanno delle stanze apposite con solo doccia per gli ospiti che devono aspettare magari la sera prima di andare in aeroporto, per noi e’ stata utilissima basta prenotarla…

If you really,really want to just relax and watch the world go by, this is the place and the country. Fantastic Hotel,staff and management faultless. Food delicious and the ambiance perfect. Lagoon Attitude is in the North about an hour or so from the airport. There are so many amazing places to visit in this small country. Wherever you go,you will find the people humble and happy to help you. Not to be missed in your lifetime. Ian

We have just left Lagoon Attitude after an absolutely beautiful stay!

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a lemongrass drink and cool flannel which was refreshing after a long day of travelling.

The reception staff were incredibly helpful and they went above and beyond to be accommodating. I would like to say a special thank you to Lily who was absolutely lovely and Rajah who helped organise for us to upgrade rooms at a very reasonable rate. At the end of our stay, Lily also contacted the spa for us so that we could use their showers as the other ones were booked up. It is a huge plus point to be able to use the showers after check out - there really is no need for late check out as towels etc is all provided! Just make sure you book a slot reception.

The hotel itself is beautiful. There are multiple pools and we spent a lot of time on the beach by the lagoon. It’s generally quite a quiet hotel with a few activities going on in the day such as table tennis. There’s not much to see snorkelling in the lagoon but it’s free to go out on the boat and follow the snorkel trail. There are also lots of activities such as paddle boarding and paddle boats which are all free!

We stayed in a suite and then upgraded to the whirlpool suite. Both rooms were brilliant! We especially liked the whirlpool suite as it is much bigger and we had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. The rooms are clean and staff did an excellent job at restocking water etc. There is also a little shop you can visit to stock up on biscuits, tea, coffee etc. The only critique I have is (and this it clutching at straws) is the attention to some details e.g. broken blinds in the room. I would say this is the only thing which doesn’t make the hotel 5*s.

By far the best thing about this hotel is the food. Food is served constantly throughout the day and the variety is excellent. It is all freshly prepared and delicious - especially the deserts! The street food is lovely although we only visited once as we found the buffet to be too good to miss. The al a carte restaurants (Coral and Kot Nou) are also excellent - Coral being the better out of the two but Kot Nou still being great. However, I would strongly recommend paying the supplement fee (around £30 pp) to visit the Lemongrass restaurant as the 6 courses are phenomenal. I would also strongly recommend choosing all inclusive to make the most of the food and drink.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Mauritius.

Myself and my pregnant partner have just left Lagoon Attitude after a 9 night stay,
After an early mix up with our room which was completely down to British Airways error, the staff were so accommodating to our every need particularly Rajah, Lily and the rest of the reception staff allowing us to upgrade to our whirlpool suite very smoothly. This is a truly beautiful hotel which matches its surroundings. The food was the biggest highlight, every day without fail, even the buffet food was top quality. Lemongrass, and the coral restaurant provided some of the best cuisine I’ve ever experienced, and the staff also added to a great experience. There were plenty of activities to do provided by the hotel for free including snorkelling which we enjoyed, other than this there are plenty of areas to lounge around which multiple pools and beach areas. A struggle to come up with anything negative about this hotel, if I had to say anything it would just be that the evening entertainment could perhaps have a little more variety (not just singers and dancing) and the rooms could possibly use a tiny bit of attention to detail in terms of upkeep I.e minor damage to blinds etc. But those extremely small minor details do not take anything away from this 5/5 hotel

Notre séjour de 13 nuits se termine malheureusement aujourd'hui. Mon époux et moi avons passé un sublime séjour à l'hôtel. Nous ne pouvons qu'être élogieux vis à vis du personnel qui est plus qu'attentionné. Même dans des hôtels plus luxueux nous n'avons pas eu d'aussi bon accueil!
Un grand merci à reena et nessene du restaurant KOT NOU et bien sur à tous ceux qui ont rendu ce séjour inoubliable. Merci également à Manoj, le taxi qui a aussi été un guide.

tl.dr - great location with good infrastructure, activities and amazing concerts, right now it needs to improve a lot when it comes to service levels for a 4 star resort.

When you book a 4 star resort you expect it to be very good without being luxurious. Specially in a country that has a strong reliance on tourism and hospitality the quality level should be great.

Unfortunately it is far from it and for the first time after travelling worldwide to these kinds of places we are writing a less positive review.

We already provided detailed information and even suggestions on food, rooms and activities so we'll take the general review to leave suggestions about the overall service that can be used by either the hotel and future customers.

1. Welcome the guests with a tour of the hotel and services (if they arrive late book one for the next morning). Show customers around with a quick tour of the resort, explain services, provide a list of all that is included on each package and how much is the supplement (you can use the website you have for customers that is very good but not explained at all on arrival). Don't forget anything,leaving things out means either bad customer experience or losing revenue streams. We had the worse welcoming ever (and also the worse check out) we were basically dropped at the room with few explanation, so we had to figure it all out.

2. Train and motivate the staff to always be happy and eager to serve. Say hello when a customer goes by makes a difference and it should be something that from managers to gardeners and waiters should always happen. The customers should also be kind of course ????
Also important is to have staff that is attentive to customer needs, we asked for scrambled eggs without dairy and a uggly face was the response. Serving food should be done with love because that passes on to the customer, clean benches, beautifully presented plates and counters, food cooked with care and served with a smile that makes a good day from breakfast to dinner.

3. The resort needs better communication and training and I'll leave that one to managers. Each team should know very well their own tasks and also should be interested in the tasks of adjacent teams in order to direct customers to the right person or place. Things like one service telling the customer that the other is not working properly or doing their jobs correctly should happen. You are all a team even if you work in small groups.
A few examples of bad communication:
A. We called reception on the first night to check until when was the breakfast, got told it was until eleven, we we arrived at 10.30am buffet was closed, turns out there was different types of breakfasts.
B. Went on a tour and the pickup was at 7am. We ask the restaurant how to get breakfast the next morning, they told us to go to the reception, went there and they told us there was no need, we could get early breakfast. Went to the early breakfast at 6.30am and the only food options were coffee, milk, yoghurt, caloric pastries and cake (really bad options).
C. We booked a dinner at the Coral restaurant and when we arrived we got a menu with very few options. We asked why and got told that we were in a honeymoon package dinner which was automatically booked. Well we booked it so it was no automation and if we were getting special treatment at least we should have known. Another lost chance to promote a good customer experience.

Some final considerations and suggestions:

1. Water should be free in any package, charging for water with tips added and having water for free the rooms and in the little counters around the resort does not make sense all together.

2. Use the website to deliver good and up to date information to the customers

3. The Boutique needs to have more food options like snacks and other things (fruit, ice cream, local products - check Yovicooks ????) . It is already good, make it better and promote it. It is profit and customer experience once more.

4. Towel cabana is too far from the main pool or the Boathouse.

Quel merveilleux séjour à l’Hotel Lagoon Attitude, le paradis terrestre existe réellement, il se trouve à l’Ile Maurice !

Wir haben hier unseren Honeymoon verbracht! Es ist eine sehr vielfältige Anlage mit ihren Pools, ihrer Lagune und den Aktivitätsmöglichkeiten im Hotel sowie die Auswahl an Bars und Restaurant! Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach gehalten und in die Jahre gekommen, man darf hier keinen Luxus erwarten, sind aber sauber! Hotel steht für Nachhaltigkeit z.B kein Verwenden von Plastik etc.! Die Getränkeauswahl an den Bars sind sehr vielfältig und hochwertig, auch im All Inclusive Paket! Das Essen ist sehr einheimisch und sehr lecker und weicht zum Glûck von dem typischen europäischen Standard (Pommes, Pizza) ab!
Besonderes möchten wir die Freundlichkeit und das Engagement der Mitarbeiter hervorheben! Es wird jeder Wunsch erfüllt und das zu jeder Zeit! Die Wellnessanwendung war leider ein Fehlgriff! Nach der Massage hatten wir Nackenschmerzen! Hier fehlt es vermutlich an der Weiterbildung der Mitarbeiter!
Besonderer Dank geht an Kevin und sein Team, auch der Hotelmanager Ruben hat sich persönlich vorgestellt!
Es ist zu beachten, dass man in dieser Anlage unbedingt ein Transportmittel benötigt, wenn man das Hotel verlassen will oder Sightseeing auf dem Plan steht! Im Großen und Ganzen war der Urlaub sehr schön!

Personnels accueillants et bienveillants tout au long du séjour.
Uttam, le skipper, nous a donné des explications sur la faune et la flore lors du tour en bateau, il parle français et anglais comme la plupart du personnel.
Merci à Reena pour nous avoir conseiller lors du repas au restaurant authentique Mauricien ainsi qu’à Permal. Tina, Churvani, Tachiana aux fourneaux nous ont préparé de bons petits plats et qui sont venus avec nous à la fin du service pour danser avec nous ainsi que Julien, Pooja les serveurs. Très bonne ambiance.
La chambre est très belle, spacieuse et propre (merci à Rita et Begum).

Mein Mann und ich besuchten das Lagoon Attitude Hotel im Rahmen unserer Flitterwochen und sind nach wie vor absolut begeistert.

Wir waren insgesamt 10 Tage vor Ort und hatten das All Inklusive (AI) Paket gebucht. Schon die Ankunft im Hotel vermittelte einen traumhaften Eindruck - eingebettet in eine wunderschöne Anlage fühlt man sich ab der ersten Sekunde wie im Paradies.

Der Check-In verlief unkompliziert und schnell, eine Mitarbeiterin brachte uns dann in unser Zimmer, welches sich im 1. Obergeschoss mit direktem Blick auf die Lagune befand.
Das Zimmer war geschmackvoll, hatte eine angenehme Größe, einen tollen Balkon und das Bad sowie das WC waren voneinander separiert, was uns sehr gut gefiel.

Ansonsten ist die Anlage des Hotels wirklich fabelhaft, man fühlt sich als wäre man in einer anderen Welt. Immer wieder gibt es Plätze zum Verweilen, es zwitschert aus den umliegenden Bäumen und Palmen, alles grünt und die Mitarbeiter sind stets auf Trapp den wunderschönen Zustand der Anlage zu erhalten. Auch die drei unterschiedlichen Pools sind großartig und bieten für jeden ein schönes Plätzchen.

Das Essen im Hotel war großartig - stets ausreichend, reichhaltig und absolut lecker. Für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei und beim Abendessen hab es immer "Mottos", mal creolisch, mal ein Gala-Dinner, mal asiatisch, mal italienisch u.v.m. Neben dem Hauptrestaurant gibt es noch das Kot Nou und das Coral, wo im Vorfeld ein Tisch reserviert werden muss (dies am besten gleich zu Beginn machen, da die Plätze schnell ausgebucht sind) Auch in diesen beiden Restaurants waren wir beeindruckt vom Essen und dem Service der Mitarbeiter - wichtig zu wissen, wir hatten durch unser AI das meiste Essen sowie den Hauptteil der Getränke kostenfrei dabei. Zum Lemongras-Restaurant können wir leider nichts sagen, da dies ein Bezahlrestaurant ist und wir dieses nicht besuchten.

Die Bars des Hotels sind mit ihrem Personal ebenfalls lobend zu erwähnen - zwei Bars am Hauptpool, eine Bar im hinteren Bereich der Anlage. Letztere liegt etwas ruhiger, sowohl am Tag auch als am Abend - für alle die etwas Entspannung und Ruhe suchen, ist diese Bar zu empfehlen. Die anderen beiden Bars liegen mitten in der Anlage und damit etwas trubeliger.

Der Strand der Anlage ist ebenfalls positiv hervorzuheben - ausreichend Liegen, viele unterschiedliche Orte, an denen man ein Plätzchen finden kann, wirklich toll. Wir hatten in der Zeit, in der wir im Hotel waren, Mitte September, leider viel Wind, weshalb das Liegen am Meer oft nicht unsere erste Wahl waren, aber dies war wie gesagt Wetterbedingt.

Abends gab es im Hotel ab ca. 20:30 Uhr bis 23 Uhr immer ein wenig Unterhaltung - DJs, Livemusik, Tanz, das war sehr schön und nicht zu viel. Was uns jedoch etwas störte, war die Lautstärke zu später Stunde - denn hatte man am nächsten Tag doch etwas geplant, musste also früh raus und somit auch am Abend zeitig im Bett, war das Schlafen schwer möglich - dies ist ein kleiner Kritikpunkt.

Was uns wiederum sehr überraschte und ein absoluter Pluspunkt des Hotel ist: Ab Abreisetag ist bis 12 Uhr Check-Out, man kann jedoch trotzdem bis zum Abend sämtliche Dinge nutzen und in Anspruch nehmen (Restaurants, Bars, Pools usw.) UND es gibt die Möglichkeit vor Abreise in einem separaten Häuschen zu duschen und sich nach einem Tag am Strand/Pool frisch zu machen, eh man die lange Heimreise antritt. Das fanden wir einen grandiosen Service.

Alles in allem können wir, bis auf einige, wirklich ganz kleine Dinge, nichts Schlechtes oder Negatives über das Hotel sagen. Die Anlage ist zauberhaft, das Personal freundlich, hilfsbereit und wirklich lobend hervorzuheben, das Essen ist großartig, die Zimmer sehr geschmackvoll - hier kann man einen wirklichen Traumurlaub im Paradies verleben und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und diese Anlage weiterempfehlen.

Schöne weitläufige Anlage mit sehr freundlichem Personal. An der Sauberkeit in den Zimmer kann man arbeiten und die Badezimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen.

Very warm and welcoming service by the whole Team. The own hotel boat and its tours are highly recommend including a try of their famous jungle juice. We had a great time and enjoyed our holdidays a lot. The newer smaller pool and lounge on the backside is very cozy. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Had a wonderful wedding anniversary there.
Food was yummy. Very friendly staff and Divesh the barman was beyond our expectations. Thanks to Parvez also who did a marvelous job in the room.
From check in to check out we had a marvelous time and experience.
Had gone to many hotels before but lagoon attitude will be memorable.
Will surely come back again.

Très bel hôtel, chambre claire et spacieuse avec grande terrasse donnant sur le lagon et les cocotiers (superbe vue le matin au réveil !). Végétation bien entretenue. Propreté impeccable (je remercie Nitesh ???? pour sa compétence et sa gentillesse). Partout, le personnel est aimable et serviable. Animation musicale le soir. Les 3 restaurants sont délicieux, on se régale de bons produits cuisinés sur place, dès le petit déjeuner ????. Petite plage ventée cette semaine mais il fait bon au soleil, nombreux transats et hamacs. Plusieurs piscines dont une calme et protégée du vent. Nombreux bars où les cocktails sont très bien faits???????? La crème solaire bio mise gracieusement à disposition à la plage est une très bonne idée (évitant toujours plus de pollution dans la mer) et sent bon la coco! Bonne attention écologique de cet hôtel pour que son ile reste magnifique. Possibilité d'excursions afin de visiter l'ile (terre des 7 couleurs, marchés, temples tamouls colorés, cascades, le cratère, jardin pamplemousse, sorties en mer, massages au SPA...) Enfin, je remercie Kévin pour son accueil professionnel, ses bons conseils et son sourire malicieux????

Wir haben im Sep. 23 unsere Flitterwochen im Lagoon Attitude verbracht.
Ich fange mit dem Fazit an, für die die keine Zeit oder Lust haben, alles zu lesen:
Das Hotel ist absolut empfehlenswert! Personal, Ausstattung, Lage, Essen....alles ganz nah an PERFEKT!

Nun zu den Details:
Empfang:
Nach unserer langen Anreise wurden wir sehr herzlich von einem Mitarbeiter am Eingang des Hotels in Empfang genommen und in die Lobby geführt. Unser Gepäck wurde uns dort schon abgenommen. Wir erhielten ein kaltes, feuchtes Tuch zum erfrischen und einen leckeren Welcome-Drink. Nach ein paar Formalitäten wurden wir durch die Anlage zu unserem Zimmer gebracht, wo auch kurze Zeit später unsere Koffer ankamen.

Anlage:
Traumhaft angelegt! Man fühlt sich mitten in der Natur - einfach wunderschön, abwechslungsreich und ohne Hotelcharachter. Ein Traum! Die Restaurants und weiteren Einrichtungen sind wunderschön integriert und fallen kaum auf zwischen all den Palmen und sonstigen Pflanzen

Zunächst einmal ein kurzes Intro:
Ich bin Ende August d.J. mit meiner besten Freundin für 2 Wochen nach Mauritius gereist. Wir waren erst in einem anderen Hotel in Trou aux Biches. Das Hotel hatte u.a. Bungalows, von denen wir einen gebucht haben. Der Zustand dessen, insbesondere unser, war eine reine Katastrophe und nicht bewohnbar. Somit organisierte unser Reiseveranstalter einen Hotelwechsel zum Lagoon Attitude. Als wir ankamen, haben wir vor Glück geweint. Das gesamte Hotel, die Anlage, die Zimmer..... ALLES ein Traum. Super sauber. Das gesamte Team war mehr als nett, freundlich hilfsbereit und einfühlsam. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Der Service 1a. Man merkt die "gute Schule"!!!! Die gesamte Ausstattung des Hotels , wie auch die Zimmer, sehr geschmackvoll und techn. hochwertig ausgestattet. Mit anderen Worten , sehr luxuriös. Das Essen, sehr abwechslungsreich und sehr!! gut. Wir können nicht in Worte fassen, wie toll das alles war/ist!!! Die Außenanlage ist genauso gepflegt. Jeden Tag wird dort alles gereinigt. Auch von dem Konzept sind wir begeistert. Das Hotel bzw speziell diese Hotelkette! hat einen ökologischen Hintergrund. (Um das Meer und die Umwelt sauber zu halten, wurde/wird alles aus recyclebarem Material gefertigt usw. Mülltrennung ist das A und O) Was uns auch sehr gerührt hat ist, dass die freilaufenden Hunde, die schon sozusagen zum Hotel gehören (3 oder 4), mit Wasser und Trockenfutter versorgt werden und sogar zum Tierarzt gebracht werden, wenn ihnen etwas fehlt. Zur Info: die Hunde sind absolut lieb und stören in keiner Hinsicht.
Die einzige Kleinigkeit, die es zu "bemängeln" gibt ist, dass das Hotel etwas weit vom Geschehen entfernt ist und dass es ein reines Hotel für Paare ist. Was aber auch kein großes PROBLEM in dem Sinne ist.
Ansonsten:
Jeden Abend gibt es ein anderes, musikalisches Unterhaltungsprogramm.
Und es handelt sich um ein Adults only Hotel, was uns hinsichtlich Ruhe und Stressabbau sehr!! entgegen kam.
Ach ja... der Strand und das Meer, direkt vor der Tür und ein Traum. Der Strand verfügt über Sonnenschirme, ausreichende Liegen und Hängematten. Es gibt 4 hoteleigene Restaurants,
die unterschiedliche Spezialitäten anbieten. U.a. mauritanisch/creolische Küche. Zudem gehört eine kleine Streetfood-Abteilung im Außenbereich, mit Blick aufs Meer. Weiterhin gibt es mehrere geschmackvolle Ruhebereiche und 3 Außenpoolanlagen. Ebenso eine tolle Strandbar.
Das Hotel hat somit definitiv mehr Sterne verdient!
100% ige Weiterempfehlung von uns!!!

Hospitalité de première classe, personnel le plus sympathique et super serviable, emplacement fantastique ! La Street Food mauricienne servie au TabaJ et les plats traditionnels servis au Kot Nou sont absolument incroyables ! Lagoon Attitude est un véritable joyau ! J'ai hâte d'être de retour !
