HOTEL HAYA

Wished they would have had transportation to cruise ship terminals available. Although local free trolley passed near by.
I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO Don’t waste your money find something else.
Everything was wrong from the beginning, the employees were not friendly, not willing to help but we had no other option to stay. The room was very uncomfortable, dark, it smelled damp and dusty. The walls had mold. The doors had rust. A few minutes after arriving, my partner and I started having an allergic reaction we had red bumps all over. Ten minutes after arriving, we called the reception to cancel the reservation and Kennedy told us they can’t do anything contact the third party , even mentioning the allergic problems we were experiencing due to the lack of cleaning of the rooms. The response we received is that they do not give refunds .When we called the third party they called the hotel and also refused to cancel. We decided to lose the money and not put our health at risk. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL. TRASH TRASH TRASH HOTEL
The front desk are excellent. The valet service were also fast and attentive.
The neighbourhood is wonderful with lots to see on a stroll down 7th ave. Highly recommend exploring this historic area.
I would only stay at this hotel if I was to return to Tampa in the future.
PS: after reading some of the 1 and 2 star reviews, I can only say that someone will *always* complain about the littlest things (holes in the concrete...lol, didn't get my card perks... waaa. Shower only had half the glass... its supposed to be like that, use a bath mat).
Seriously fragile people that will never be happy.
