GRAND PARK HOTEL * * * * *

But, If you’ve got any dietary restrictions, you might hit a roadblock. Breakfast was a bit of a letdown—the labels were confusing, there wasn’t any info on allergens, and the staff seemed a bit lost. Dinner wasn’t much better. The food in the restaurant was on the heavy side, and let’s just say it wasn’t exactly health food. My wife’s gluten-free, and getting her bread situation sorted was like pulling teeth. Normal bread and butter to start, and her gluten-free bread only showed up with the main course after a lot of back-and-forth with the waiter. Not exactly what you’d expect from a 5-star joint.
At the pool area, we were hoping for a relaxing day, but instead, we got a bunch of rowdy folks vaping, drinking, and being loud by the indoor pool. Not exactly the tranquil scene we were envisioning.
The hotel’s been around for five years, but it feels like it’s stuck in the past. No yoga classes, no pilates, no olive oil tastings—nada. In the rooms, they still have those old-school phones in the rooms if you need to reach the hotel. It’s like they missed the memo on modern amenities.
Overall, the Grand Park Hotel has some serious potential, but there are definitely some areas that need a bit of TLC if they want to keep up with the times and deliver that 5-star experience.
