Exzellent und teuer wie immer: wir besuchen das Gariful seit 2011 regelmäßig, letztmalig 2x im Juli 2022. Es war / ist

+/-bekanntermaßen das mit Abstand teuerste Restaurant in Hvar Stadt: Hummer-Nudeln mit seafood-Vorspeisen, lokalem Qualitätswein, Wasser, Kaffee, Digestiv(e) sowie Nachtisch haben uns zu zweit im Juli 2022 KN 4.400 gekostet, das läßt sich auch durchaus ohne jede Anstrengung noch mit frz. Wein etc. in die Höhe treiben.
+ein Restaurant mit hervorragendem & freundlichem Service (jedenfalls wenn man sich selbst auch etwas freundlich verhält ....)
+ein Restaurant mit hervorragendem seafood: (panierte) Austern, Hummer (insbesondere mit Nudeln - ohne Nudeln geht der Hummer aber auch gut..) oder Fisch generell wurden uns stets perfekt zubereitet serviert, jedenfalls kein negatives Erlebnis seit 2011
+mit der Terrasse im ersten Stock jetzt auch ein Restaurant mit Hafen-Aussicht.
+ein Restaurant mit großer Weinauswahl, Preise sind halt wie im teuersten Restaurant der Stadt.
+/- Preis/Leistung: Die Preise sind happig, Service und Qualität bei seafood sind sehr gut. Ob das ein gutes / schlechtes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis im seafood-Bereich ist, muß jeder für sich selbst entscheiden, wir werden jedenfalls nächstes Jahr wieder das Gariful besuchen. Preis/Leistung ist für uns "gut".

Das Restaurant ist für seafood-Fans, die bereit sind, ein Preis-Premium für hervorragendes seafood zu zahlen, perfekt geeignet. Kaum geeignet ist es für Veganer / Vegetarier/Hähnchenbrustesser (oder vergleichbar), da diese Gruppe evident nicht Zielgruppe des Restaurantkonzepts ist und mutmaßlich enttäuscht sein wird ob fehlender Auswahl und hoher Preise für Gemüse & Huhn.

The best seafood in the island . Definitely recommend it if you are looking for a good and lovely night ????????

Fenomenalna hrana (sushi, Riba, Mesna Jela) i profesionalno osoblje. Preporučam.

I had the absolute pleasure to dine at Gariful. The food was devine, the service superb and the atmosphe was magical. There was live music (Croatian klape) which took the experience to a whole nother level. I highly recomend this experience.

The place to be, wenn man das Geld ausgeben möchte und kann. Ambiente ist wundervoll. Essen war für das Geld okay statt wow. Beste und aufregendste Vorspeise am Tisch von 8 Personen war die Ceviche. Die Fischplatte für 2 Personen: ein Fisch, 2 Tintenfisch-Tuben und 2 Garnelen, Fisch wurde nicht filetiert, noch schuppen dran. Die Garnelen in Schale, nicht entdarmt und mehlig. Die Garnelen waren somit nicht frisch, obwohl man mit frischen Fisch wirbt. Fazit, okay aber wird den aufgerufenen Preisen nicht gerecht

Disgraceful Aperol spritz. 19 euro the glass and it was missing half of the ingredients. Poor service on top of that and the terrace is not at all worth it

Very nice location & good service but food is average and too expensive. It was much better a few years ago. So if u want to pay for the view go for it but be assured the food is only average.

The place is amazing, food is too good and the athmosphere can not be better!

Vrhunska hrana - njoki s grancigulom i Jakobovim kapicama su definitivno nešto najbolje sto smo pojeli u životu kao i buzara. Usluga nevjerojatno nastrojena zadovoljstvu gostiju, prijateljska i profesionalna u isto vrijeme. Primljeni smo iako smo bili u odjeci za plažu. Ambijent divan - tik do mora - neprocjenjivo iskustvo.

Beautiful views and excellent service. The menu has a wide selection and the food is good. The staff are super friendly and there's a live singer!

Food was delicious, I had the risotto and it was the best I’ve ever had! Kimbo was a brilliant waiter and all of the staff were lovely, amazing service! If you’re looking in Hvar make sure you go here, the views are lovely!

J'ai aimé l'ambiance. Le risotto, la viande sont excellents. Sushis à un tarif élevé. Compter 60eur / personne. C'est l'ambiamce qui fait la différence : vue, orchestre, atmosphère. Sinon, c'est un peu cher pour les portions servies, surtout les sushis (7eur le sushi...).

Very nice restaurant. However I can say that for the prices you can expect a way better service.

We had an inconvenience with the dinner, there a little worm in the lettuce . They were very attentive to the issue … they didn’t charge us and give us complementary dessert… however my mom still had a nasty experience.

But the food i can guarantee was DELICIOUS even with that problem… would recommend.

Atmosfera bellissima, con terrazza sul porto e musica dal vivo.
Abbiamo preso 1 tuna tataki, porzione molto piccola ma buona, 1 insalata di polpo con porzione abbondante, anche questa buona, e 2 gnocchi sardi (che non sono assolutamente gli gnocchi che ci immaginiamo, ma conchiglie): 1 dei due piatti era molto buono, l’altro invece con troppo parmigiano che copriva tutto il sapore del granchio (sembrava una pasta al pesto).
Servizio apparentemente cordiale fino a quando non ci siamo lamentati per il piatto dal sapore diverso, e il cameriere ci ha risposto a mezza bocca (infastidito dal commento) senza neanche scusarsi, andandosene via dal tavolo, e senza neanche ricevere un saluto al momento del conto (cosa che non ti aspetteresti da un certo tipo di ristorante..). Prezzi alti ma giusti per il tipo di locale. Per un totale di 133€. Opinione sincera: cibo niente di che
