Niché au fond d’une galerie de la rue Panepistimiou, à deux pas de la place Syntagma, cet établissement étoilé a du charme : salle à haut plafond, lustre énorme à l’entrée, fauteuils en cuir, miroirs imposants… Dans une atmosphère nostalgique, mais avec tous les conforts contemporains, le chef vous propose un menu qui tourne autour de la viande : steak tartare coupé au couteau, black Angus, spécialités grecques... Grande liste de vins grecs et internationaux. Ne manquez pas de déguster les fromages affinés grecs, la charcuterie fine ou les pâtisseries succulentes.

I was hoping to try their menu special #2 which included several meats and cuts that I saw on another review, but it was no longer on their menu anymore. Then I decided to get something simple; their lamb chops for 35€ under Greek specialties and a glass of Sauvignon for 7€. Service seems to have taken a while and I think they saw me having to wait so they did give me a complimentary dish, that seemed to be composed of lamb and liver, forgot the name but decent 3/5. My lamb dish arrived a little while later and came with some toasted bread, as they didn’t have any veggies as a side. The lamb was cooked well and quite tender, however lacked seasoning and presentation was rather sad as you can see on the photo. As I finished my dish, the place got more crowded and it took a while to get my bill.
Overall, nice ambiance, but food is lacking in flavour and presentation, though, that could have been my choice of dish. Service was ok, and I am grateful for the complimentary dish so 3/5 instead of 2/5, but it was definitely not above average.
