Στο Bedway Athens Hostel ήταν ευχάριστη η διαμονή μου σε σχέση με την τιμή.Ειναι αυτό που λέμε value for money.Δεν έχει τις πιο σύγχρονες εγκαταστάσεις, αλλά για έναν ύπνο είναι πολύ οκ.Στα θετικά μόνιμη μουσική στο μπάνιο kiss fm πρωί και βράδυ!

Ήταν κάτι ξεχωριστώ ευχαριστώ πολύ τα κοριτσια Δήμητρα και Αναστασία η διαμονή ήταν υπέροχη ήταν όλα τελεία και τα κοριτσια πολύ καλές και Εξυπηρετικές!!!!!!

Helpful, Absolutely recommend for beautiful souls, backpackers and travelers, great staff, lovely spirits.

전철역 근처에 있어서 편하고
시설도 깨끗하고 좋아요.
침대에 커튼 달려있고 개별 전등과 콘센트도 있고 캐리어 들어가는 락커도 있어요.
공용 주방은 좀 작지만 간단하게 음식 해먹을 수 있고 좀 걸어가면 Lidl 마트 있어서 반조리 식품 사다가 먹을 수 있어요.

So close to metro! Easy to find, great staff, clean, big lockers… nothing but good to say!! Oh and wonderful value as well.

Toilets, showers only on second floor, none ensuite

No social space, no lounge, TV room, nothing except prison-like exterior courtyard and four stools in kitchen, three benches in reception

Rooms not locked, doors not secured - anyone has access

Lift operative only between whenever they remember to turn it on and about 6 pm when reception staff leaves. During the day, it's also used as maid's cart, complete with mops, buckets and dirty linens

No 24 hour reception, almost all communication done over WhatsApp

There are better choices in Athens

Very clean and well organised hostel with friendly and extremely helpful staff. Kitchen is a little small with only 2 stoves though. Price wise is not that cheap but affordable in €20 range. Highly recommended!

A pretty decent hostel, rooms were cheap and there were no bedbugs thankfully. Showers were great but you need to bring your own towels and soaps. An amazing restaurant around two minutes walk away too.
They can wash clothes for you and there’s a kitchen to store and cook any food you have while you’re there.
The rooms are nice and have good light and plugs beside each bed, the lockers are big enough for your luggage and they have a steady lock so nothing should get taken.
Only downside was the noise from the street but some good earbuds should solve that
There are bus routes and a small tram service in walking distance too.

1. 방안에서 와이파이 잘되는거(그리스에서 여기 빼고 제가 갔던 호스텔은 다 와파가 방에선 잘 안됐어요)
첫날 여기서자고 오모니아역근처 숙소 자는거였는데 여기 넘좋아서 취소하고 현장 결제로 계속 있었습니다! 2. 침대가 타 호스텔에 비해 넓고 높고 좋았어요~~ 일단 3. 호스트가 너무 친절해요ㅜㅠ왓츠앱으로 연락하는 거 넘 편하고(영어번역기돌려서 보내면 답 바로바로 와용) 산토리니 자킨토스 메테오라 델포이 등등 아테네말고 다른 섬이나 오래걸리는 곳 다녀왔었는데 여기에 4. 큰 캐리어 맡기고 그때그때 배낭에 옷이랑 간단하게만 챙겨다녀서 넘 편했어요ㅜㅠ(심지어 첫날이후 체크아웃하고나서 짐보관 무료에 찾으러가는 일정 2번 바뀌었는데도 계속 연장해서 보관해줌 체크인예약된 상태도 아니었음ㅠ) 담에 오면 또 여기 쓸겁니다!! 전 하루 예약했다가 나중에는 아예 쭉 여기로 잡았어요. 일단 10/26~11/15까지 있는 날 중에 5박했어요! 나머지는 타지역(?)에서 몇박하고 그랬습니다

Η διαμονή μου ήταν ότι καλύτερο έχω ζήσει σε χοστελ και επειδή η γνώμη του κόσμου για τα χοστελ (όχι και άδικα κάποιες φορές ) δεν είναι και η καλύτερη,το συγκεκριμένο θα σας κάνει να αλλάξετε γνώμη με την καθαριότητα του κ το φιλικό προσωπικό του. Οι κουρτίνες στα κρεβάτια είναι πολύ έξυπνη πινελιά. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!

Bedway offered a place to store luggage until check in, an easy access code, and was a nice place to stay in Athens.

It’s an Okay hostel for one or two nights. I wouldn’t recommend more.
I stayed for two nights in the off season and paid around 10€ per night.
When I first arrived the showers and toilets were very dirty. There was poop on the garbage and hair and dirt everywhere in the floor. I didn’t wanted to shower. It was eventually cleaned the day after…
It was very cold in the rooms, because the Windows were not sealed properly.
Unfortunately the rooms don’t have locks. Everybody could come in and break the locker (that you get for free) etc.
I met a lot of nice Traveller a and had a good time, but the tidiness and location add some minus points..

Also, there’s a tiny area to socialize, but no we’re to work in peace and quietness

Staff were so friendly, place is super clean and I couldn't find anything to complain of.

The most irresponsible hostel I ever met.They asked me to cancel my room at the day before I arrived, because of their plumbing problem. Without any help for transfer their customers to another hostel or any recommended. This is really inconvenient to a foreign traveler who visit Athens first time, and feel out of respect.

Safe. Automated. Well-thought out. Well organized. Basically quiet. A step from the metro station, two-three stations or a long walk from touristic center of Athens. Excellent grill cafeteria across the street. Responsive, friendly staff who bent over backwards to fulfill various requests for help. Curtains across beds. Dorms didn’t have excessive number of beds in each one. Honor-system fridge with bottles of water, beer for a euro each. Simple, clean, adequate kitchen. Social courtyard. Hospitality and baggage storage even after checkout.

Kitchen could use more than two plates and 10 drinking vessels, but it still is functional.

Reception desk is staffed in person from about noon to about five pm (IIRC) but they are very responsive to whatsapp text messages the rest of the time. This is how they keep prices affordable.

It is true that if you are on 3rd or 4th floor, you do have to walk or take elevator down to 2nd (or 1st) floor to shower and use bathroom.

If you handwash clothes, you can hang them on hooks by your bed or you can dry them almost instantaneously on the rack on the 4th-floor terrace, which has a great view of the Acropolis.

I have family in Greece and routinely spend a night in Athens every year on my way to visit them, so I have stayed quite a few places in Athens over the years. Unfortunately, the properties I normally stay at were fully booked, and I made a reservation here instead. And unfortunately, I need to give a mininum star review — I would give 0 stars if I could. I had a flight arriving late at night in Athens, and contacted the hostel 2 days ahead of my arrival asking for confirmation that late check-in would be possible, since online it stated that check-in was only until 11pm. I received no response to my email, nor to my numerous phone calls. A day before my arrival, I received a separate email (from a different email address than the one listed as the contact) asking for my arrival time, which would not have been necessary if they had checked the other email. I responded to this with my arrival time, my phone numbers, and again requesting that they confirm that a late check-in would be possible. Again, no response to either my email or to the phone numbers I provided. When my flight was delayed further, I became very worried about arriving at the hostel past 1am and being stranded since I had NO confirmation that I would be able to get inside. I decided to book a different property last-minute with a 24-hour reception, so that I could be sure to have a place to stay and not be stranded on the streets of Athens at 1 in the morning. It was only AFTER I had already arrived (late!) in Athens that the hostel texted me via WhatsApp with the relevant check-in information. I consider this to be completely unacceptable, not only because some guests may not have phones that work in Greece, but also for guests’ peace of mind and planning. The check-in would have been self-service — this is not new to me, but everywhere else I have stayed with self check-in sends the information minimum one day in advance to ensure that travelers have all the information they need in time. I was charged for my stay and my booking through HostelWorld was retroactively canceled as I was a no-show (I went to the other property instead, since I did have confirmation there), meaning that I could not leave a review there. I don’t care about the 25€ I lost, which isn’t a big deal, but I do care about the amount of stress that this ordeal caused me unnecessarily.

It was clean, good location, friendly staff and very simple. It wasn't quit at all, but nothing that ear plugs couldn't fix. They provide a full stocked kitchen, laundry, luggage storage, wifi, and locker room enough to fit a big backpack. It was always clean. What they don't provide is towels and soaps. Upstairs is a rooftop where can acropolis be spotted. It's a very nice view. I like it.
