The room is a good size and kept clean daily by the excellent cleaning ladies , the decor was a little shabby in places and the towel rail not fully secured to the wall , we had a balcony room , this was on the ground floor and at the front side of the hotel and was over looking pipework etc that was disguised by having a hedge in front of it , so we did not make use of it ????♂️
Great views from the roof terrace , plenty of sun beds and seating on the terrace and around the pool , the pool area is lovely , courtesy pool towels are readily available .
I didnt find out until the last day that they had daily events like archery , petanque etc , everything is listed on their web app using the free WiFi but not obvious ????♂️ .
There was bit of confusion as to when the room was available on the first day , we were told it was usually 2pm but probably be ok for 1pm , we got back at 1.40pm and was told No its 3pm !!! , but luckily was already for us .
I would stay here again as its a lovely location with great food and service , but would ask for a balcony room higher up ????????????????
Estuvimos la semana pasada cinco días y todo genial, lo único malo el tiempo. Ya habíamos estado más veces porque la ubicación es excelente, el personal tanto de recepción, limpieza, comedor… dispuestos a ayudarte y hacer tu estancia más fácil y agradable. En especial Ricky y Beatriz en recepción que nos han atendido fenomenal. Por la noche los camareros del bar donde había actuaciones también muy cercanos y amables. Habitaciones amplias, buffet muy variado y todo riquísimo e instalaciones muy cuidadas. Lo recomendamos sin duda, y por supuesto intentaremos repetir.

Se tendria que modificar el procedimiento de uso de tumbonas.
Desde primera hora, muchas cogidas sin nadie a modo de reserva.
El vigilante tendría que dejar libres las que no se usan.

On arrival to ask questions about accessibility with a wheel chair etc. The reception member of staff was most unhelpful! Infact very judging and Rude. She treated us as almost common and beneath her . Well…
Never mind we now have wonderful accommodation arranged at the RIU Palace. I would never recommend this chain. Unfriendly unhelpful . Not at all friendly to disabled .So RUI can have our custom .

Algo no imputable al hotel es la dificultad para aparcar en toda la zona...
Positiv beeindruckt aber nicht perfekt!
Im großen und ganzen ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Wir haben Halbpension.
Das Abendessen ist unerwartet gut und lecker… Es gibt jeden Tag andere gute Basics, und zusätzlich Highlights wie z.B. Dönerspieß, Pulled Pork, ganzer Lachs, Schoko- und Nacho Brunnen, Schweinebraten
Die Lage ist bestens: Mitten im Geschehen, direkt am Strand wo auch die Paraglider landen, rechts rum kommen kleinere Gassen mit Sportsbar etc., links rum die Promenade, Freibad etc.
Die Zimmer sind so naja: positiv ist, dass man nicht das Gefühl hat dass etwas dreckig oder unrein ist, Fenster sind ziemlich undicht, Türen sind hellhörig aber es geht wesentlich schlimmer(man kann trotzdem gut schlafen auch wenn man empfindlich ist)
Matratzen sind bequem
Luxuriöse 4 Sterne sind die Zimmer nicht sondern sehr einfach und rudimentär ausgestattet (keine Kaffeemaschine, schickes Design fehlt, keine edlen Materialen, kein hochwertiges Bad) das finden wir aber nicht schlimm bzw. wir legen keinen Wert drauf…
Dafür ist es aber überall sauber und im Ansatz lässt sich auch etwas Luxus erkennen Marmorboden…
Positiv ist, dass im Flur überall Teppich liegt, dadurch hört man die Schritte nicht
Fragezeichen hat man unter anderem dabei, warum ist die Minibar leer und ausgeschaltet?
Und man muss sich bewusst sein, es gibt sehr viele Zimmer ohne Balkon!
Fazit: Um den nördlichen Teil der Insel kennenzulernen in Kombination mit Strand und Promenade kann man das Hotel, ohne Luxus zu erwarten bedenkenlos buchen!

Plesant staff doing their outmost to make you feel welcomed.
The overall room standard does not live up to the quality of the other aspects of the hotel - a renovation is highly recommended.
A strong fourstar hotel with perhaps the best location in Playa de la Cruz.

Calme, aucun bruit, clientele très distinguée,
Personnel parfait, courtoix, intentionné, musique cosy le soir,´excellent cocktails, choix du buffet impressionnant, a recommander absolument
Pour des vacances de rêve, plus calme que le centre ou il y a trop d action
