Beaucoup de charme pour cet hôtel installé dans une ancienne maison coloniale, dans le centre d'Alajuela. Agréable patio ombragé avec une fontaine, où se trouve le restaurant de l'hôtel. Les chambres les plus économiques se trouvent côté rue, les autres côté patio. Accueil sympathique.

We stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip to Costa Rica and could not have asked for a more perfect place! This was our first trip to Costa Rica and Alexandra took wonderful care of us - she was awesome! All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The courtyard and rooms were lovely and the hotel was in a really good location to explore. We would highly recommend the Alajuela City Hotel. I feel as though I have a kindred spirit with Alexandra and I thank you so much for all your kindness!!

"Boutique" hotel with nice rooms and great staff. Wonderfully helpful service, with open air courtyard where breakfast is served.

Awesome place, whole family stayed here after my wedding checking out the city and they all loved it. Clean nice rooms. Super hospitable owner and hosts. The owner definitely seems the type of person to hang out and crack a cold one with you.

I had a wonderful stay. The owner and staff are all friendly and always making sure you are taken care of. The property is located in the middle of the town so it’s convenient to walk around and explore. All the facilities where clean and comfortable. Would definitely come back and stay here during my next visit to Costa Rica.

This is a great place to stay when you're in the San Jose area. It is convenient to the airport and close to the north side of town for easy access to other parts of the country. The owners are nice folks and are most accommodating. Breakfast is fantastic! Be sure to order the beans and rice, which is, in my opinion, the best in Costa Rica. Accommodations are clean and quiet with modern air-conditioning. They arranged a rental car for us from a reliable and high-quality rental company and made things easy for us. Be sure to tell them that I recommended them highly.
