Les chambres sont confortables, la douche un peu petite à notre gout mais n'est qu'un petit détail.
Le petit déjeuner est très complet et délicieux (salé, sucré, plats typiques...)
Le restaurant est également très bien
Je recommande pour un séjour en couple mais aussi en famille si les enfants sont grands car cet hôtel privilégie le calme pour ses clients

The reason I docked one star is because of the pool. The pool itself was beautiful, but it was very dirty every day. It probably would have taken 10 minutes a day for a ground keeping person to clean it. Although it was refreshing to jump in after a day in the sun, it was unfortunate that it was never clean.
Now to the positives! The grounds, the ambiance, the food, and most importantly the staff!!!! All excellent!! You can tell there was detail put into the design of the grounds. It was so beautiful. The food was absolutely delicious every day/night! The location was perfect (right next to the town and beach), and the best part of the trip was the staff The servers at breakfast and dinner were always so happy and attentive. It was very welcoming seeing the same friendly faces. They definitely made the overall experience lovely. I think I would definitely come back.

We must also respectfully address some inaccuracies in your comments: our records show that our pool is regularly and diligently maintained by our dedicated ground-keeping team. We take great pride in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all our amenities, including the pool. Any perception of uncleanliness may have been a temporary situation caused by the intermittent rains that this region experiences during this current weather season.

The beach access plot is great too and it was a 10 or less minute walk to everything I wanted to visit outside of hotel grounds. My only criticism would be the pool needing skimmed a lot more often than it was. That's the only thing I would not rate as perfect and that's an incredibly tiny gripe. This was one of the best places I have ever stayed at, in any country.

The grounds are beautiful with a lush garden atmosphere, so it is aptly named as the Garden of Eden. The location was great - while the hotel and rooms are not oceanfront, it is a short walk through a private walkway to the private oceanfront garden with cabanas, bar and dipping pool. It is also centrally located to the Main Street with shopping and dining.
From our arrival to departure every single staff member was friendly and service oriented. I cannot say enough good things about them. They truly embrace Pura Vida! With breakfast and dinner included it is definitely a good value for the money. We also got to see the monkeys - what a treat that was!
The food, especially the organic fruit, was amazing too! There were so many choices available for breakfast- with lots of daily variations. The dinner menu was somewhat limited, with only two entree choices each night. That said, we were able to modify the choices to our liking (e.g. I had the pasta without the seafood in it since I don’t eat seafood). The quality of the food served was incredible and it’s presentation rivals 5-star restaurants in NYC. Kudos to the chef!
My only suggestion would be to have water more accessible throughout the grounds. Many people now travel with their own water bottles and it would have been nice to have cold water filling stations located at reception, the pool and the oceanfront garden.
Other reviews noted the smell of sewage on the premises. We noticed it slightly at times but it did not permeate the grounds and it was not constant. I don’t think it is a hotel issue I think it is just the nature of the plumbing system in Costa Rica.
Overall, Jardin del Eden is a beautiful property with an amazing staff and great food! #PuraVida
