We had a fantastic time and stay at Jardin Del Eden Boutique Hotel. The gardens were beautiful and well maintained, the pool was calm and peaceful, the food was delicious, the service was top notch. We treated ourselves to a spa service, and it was delightful as well. We loved relaxing at the beach gardens, watching the monkeys on the property, sitting on our porch and admiring the views. Our rooms were clean, simply decorated, and had a few unique touches of a boutique hotel. Every staff member was kind, welcoming and pleasant. We enjoyed chatting with the staff and other guests. After spending a weekend at a large, all-inclusive place about an hour away, Jardin Del Eden was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a few days. Highly recommend, and we cannot wait to book another stay.

Where do I begin? This hotel is absolutely stunning. The views are so gorgeous it takes your breath away. I literally have some of my favorite photos taken at the hotel. Sunset leaves this beautiful glow on the grounds so remember that! Everyone is nice, kind, and very accommodating. The room was spacious, the canopy was our favorite. The massage was very relaxing and they know what they're doing. Now, the food. They have a different menu every single day. It is very good, my favorite were the seafood options and beef tenderloin. They accommodated my bf allergies and protein preferences. My bf and I literally wanna come back just to do nothing but enjoy since we did all the excursions already. We even had monkeys visit us for breakfast! Perfect location! Great place, great location, great people, and great food. I'm so happy.

Overall we had a great stay. The staff really make this place - they were accommodating and helpful and friendly. Special shout out to Kevin who was the bartender at the beach garden both days we were there. Location is central and I really loved the access to the beach. Comfy chairs, a bar right there and both the ocean and a small pool to cool off in.

The rooms were fine. Nothing spectacular (Superior category) although I appreciated the privacy the hotel was able to achieve with the terrace and greenery. Again, staff quickly and easily accommodated a request I had for a screen to be had on the sliding glass door.

Breakfasts were quite good with lots of choice. Dinners were fine but, for me, not amazing. Service in the restaurant was always very good.

This was a good value hotel for what we experienced. We were there in the off-season (October) and at full rates I think I would have expected more. My complaints may reflect more the touristy nature of Tamarindo which I found less charming than other areas of Costa Rica.

In summary: a decent spot, great staff, maybe not the perfect hotel for me.

The meals were out of this world. Incredible value- I love that it was partial board. The meals were very service oriented! Free mimosas at breakfast and if you want to take one to the pool or your room, the staff helps you with a shatterproof glass or a coffee in a paper cup. The breakfast had a huge array of foods, fruits, cooked to order omelettes and waffles, juices, fresh baked pastries, cold cuts, and hot lunch items like braised pork and local rice dishes. Dinner was a legit 3 course pre-fixe meal with 2 options for each course. Drinks at dinner were incredibly priced, about $15 for 3 cocktails.

The service in general and staff to guest ratio was excellento. The in room spa was my favorite- I love how it was serviced same day whenever it was a little dirty. It was fantastic to unwind with a glass of wine or start the day with a cup of coffee in the spa.

The views were incredible, the landscaping was like I was in a movie, it was so beautiful. Every square inch was decorated and landscaped so beautifully, my husband joked that it was like we were on the Bachelor with beautiful set design. Every picture we took had a beautiful background.

The pools were spotless and the room was spacious. The shower was hot and very large, plenty of room for two people. I never had to ask for anything because the staff immediately took care of anything amiss.

There was an espresso machine with pods and you could ask for as many coffee pods as you wanted. The water was safe to drink which is nice. There was a mini fridge stocked with quite reasonably priced drinks (I tried the Chardonnay, it was nice). It was easy to put my own items in the mini fridge too - which is sometimes restricted at other properties.

The grounds were impeccable and it was so private, I felt like I was the only guest there at times.

The beach club was a short walk away and was very pleasant with grass and lots of shade, a plunge pool, and a nice sandy beach. Towels, bathrooms, and free sunbeds were available. The main strip of town was steps away from the property as well, it was very easy to get cash at the ATM or grab some snacks/drinks at a convenience store, or walk somewhere for coffee or lunch (because why would you go to dinner when the dinners are included and fantastically amazing??).

Hands down the best property I've been to anywhere in the world. I can't wait to go back and I wouldn't consider staying at any other property in Tamarindo let alone Costa Rica.

This place is so beautiful. You are getting well treated here during your stay. Clean and comfy rooms. You can enjoy private beachview and garden.

It was a wonderful stay. We had a relaxing experience. This is a beautiful boutique hotel, the staff are incredibly attentive and kind, the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. If you are looking for a very intimate relaxing experience, this is the place to stay!

My boyfriend and I stayed here around Labor Day and had the BEST TIME. Great for couples or adult groups. The food was AMAZING. We did a fishing trip and the hotel cooked the mahi for us that night! The hotel is beautiful, relaxing and private. Highly recommended especially for couples! The bartender Kevin was great!

Jardin del Eden has the BEST location, it’s literally in the center of Downtown Tamarindo. And there’s delicious breakfast buffet and dinner included in the price! And the dinner was always delicious with 3 courses. And great views. Endy the restaurant manager was so friendly, and all the wait staff were so polite and patient with my aged parents. Thank you Natalie for helping us. And thank you Sylvia, the excursion specialist was so helpful and sweet. I wanted to go to a specific place on a day that tours were not offered, so she connected me with Ronnie for a private tour for an affordable price. Also shoutout to Leonardo for helping me with a reservation mistake at the beginning. Also much thanks to Monserrat and Celia, the front desk receptionists.

And there’s a private beach section only for hotel guests! So lovely with story comfy lounge chairs!

This place is totally worth it, on the walkability factor alone, and combine that with everything else, I recommend this place fully. I’ll be back! Pura vida!

Great place to stay! Leo and his team take care of all your needs, the food is wonderful and the location can't be beat.

The room (premium plus) was smaller than other places we've stayed, but it was fine. It had a small balcony looking over the gardens with a glimpse of the ocean. I didn't love the pillows, and there was no duvet on the bed (just a sheet), though there was a blanket in the closet. The AC did not run very cool but was adequate. The room was very clean.

The service and all the staff were outstanding and were not only responsive to any requests but also went out of their way to help us any time I needed any kind of assistance. The front desk spent an inordinate amount of time helping me figure out postcard postage. Staff remembered our names (we spent three nights) and were always friendly.

The buffet style breakfast was very nice, and dinners were delicious. The wait staff was very attentive.

The hotel has a beach garden, which was easy to get to through a private passageway, but necessitated crossing a busy street. Once through the locked entry, the ocean was just steps away, and we watched two glorious sunsets down there. The cabanas in the beach garden were perfect for lying in and watching a brief afternoon shower while enjoying a guaro sour. And Richard even made a special drink for my husband. There were several restaurants, souvenir shops, a casino, pharmacy, and a med clinic nearby.

El Mejor lugar!

Sin duda un lugar con una vista y vibra sorprendente ... cerca de restaurantes, tiendas de suvenirs y a unos pasos de la playa ... A quien no le gusta disfrutar de un lindo atardecer junto con una bebida desde el bar con terraza y piscina ? ... 100 recomendado sin dudarlo ..!!

Recomiendo este hotel para hospedarse en la zona, sin duda es increíble ya que todo queda cerca. El atractivo principal es la fiesta que se hace los días viernes, una de las mejores de la zona. El personal es muy amable, por ejemplo Max Soto nos brindó recomendaciones de sitios por conocer en Tamarindo y de los tours que se realizan. Josue Viquez un gran bartender, él tenía un trato excelente con los clientes.

What an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we felt welcome and pampered. We are an interracial couple, so this welcoming attitude is always huge to us.

The staff at the front desk were quick and informative. The gentleman who checked us in actually got excited when he made our mimosa upon check in.

Booking excursions was a breeze. The young lady who does this was routinely early to her desk.

The staff at the restaurant and bar by the ocean were full of good local information and always respectful. They settled into the Spanglish my partner and I speak and actually seemed to quite enjoy the back and forth between languages.

The grounds were impeccable. Despite it being rainy season, the pool was always sparkling. This was probably thanks to the every day morning cleanings I witnessed. The temperature of the water was perfect and we loved the access to day beds we didn’t have to “reserve.”

Our room was cleaned daily, including draining and scrubbing the “hot tub.” It was organized and smelled fresh every day when we returned in the evenings.

Breakfast was always delicious and I loved the variety. We only did dinner one night, but we enjoyed it very much.

Upon checking out, I was already thinking about when I could return.

The best place to stay in Tamarindo. This place is amazing. The hotel is well taken care of. The grounds are beautiful with flowering trees and bushes. The entire hotel staff is the kindest and friendliest group of people you will ever find. They are also very helpful with suggestions for anything you might want to see or try while in Costa Rica. I am already planning my next trip back.

I had an okay time staying at this hotel for 4 nights, but I was disappointed due to the outstanding 5 star ratings I read online. My biggest disappointments were with the food/ restaurant, the cleanliness and the uncomfortable bed.

The front desk staff and bellboys were very kind and attentive. The rooms, while basic, were nice and the balcony with the ocean view was beautiful. The private corridor to the Main Street was also super convenient.

I was a unimpressed by the dishes served on my first night which were some kind of chicken appetiser, a fish for the main dish and a cinnamon cake for dessert. It was fine, but I went out for more food a few hours later. On my second night I was served an onion soup and a steak. The steak was inedible and I couldn’t even cut it. Again, left and got dinner elsewhere. The breakfast was basic. After 3 meals, I ate elsewhere for the remainder of the trip. The 2 lunches I had on site were better than the included breakfast/ dinner. The restaurant also was extremely slow. I’m not sure if it was because I was a solo traveler and always reading my book, but I often had to flag down waiters to pay for my $5 water with dinner.

The pool and pool deck were pretty dirty. I said something the first day, and I did notice someone come out to skim it twice on the next few days. However, most of the surface area of the pool and pool deck are covered in different trees meaning that debris is constantly falling and those areas needed to be cleaned up much more than they were.

The beds were as hard as a rock and there was no comforter, just a throw blanket in the closet. I have never seen this in any hotel around the world.

Son excelentes las habitaciones son hermosas, el personal es increíblemente atento, desde las recepción, hasta el mantenimiento lo recomiendo al 100% su ubicación es espectacular y la piscina con el bar hermosa.

Me parece como constante consumidora del servicio de Best Western Tamarindo. Que no podemos llevar más allá nuestra experiencia para dañar la imagen de una persona. Como consumidores de un servicio tenemos puntos de vista distintos en situaciones que se presentan. Sin embargo el respeto a las normas de un hotel, restaurante, vía pública, supermercados o cualquier área común no hace que un empleado sea una mala persona. Las cualidades físicas de una persona, no deben ser motivo de insinuaciones racistas o de menosprecio recordemos que una cosa es una critica CONSTRUCTIVA y otra la mala intención la cual puede desencadenar no sólo problemas personales si no legales.
En mi particular forma de verlo, el Best Western tiene una atención cálida de parte de cada miembro que colabora allí. ???? Ojalá todos aplicaremos la libre opinión con respeto, educacion y valores. ✨️

Hermoso camping! a pasos de la playa. El lugar para acampar está súper bien
resguardado con media sombras (necesario en temporada de lluvias). Baños y cocina super limpios. Mari y Juli, los chicos que se encargan del lugar, lo mejor! súper buena onda, la mejor vibra. 100% recomendado. Volveríamos????

Beautiful campsite! Steps away from the beach. The camping place is super well sheltered with partial shade (necessary in the rainy season). Super clean bathrooms and kitchens. Mari and Juli, the guys who run the place, the best! the best vibes. 100% recommended. We would return????
