Just how I like a restaurant to be, quietly confident in the quality of its food. The location is peaceful, away from the hustle of the city and port yet it still benefits from a glorious view across the sea with large lifting windows to make you feel alfresco whilst indoors. You can hear the lapping of the gentle waves and watch spearfishers diving for their dinner.

The owner and staff were lovely and had the perfect subtle approach of checking just enough, to see if all was well. The dry agers lining the walls are a sure sign of someone who cares about gastronomy. I chose the dry aged tuna steak and was in ecstacies taking plenty of time over every mouthful. My mum had the seafood soup which was such a generous portion and so so delicious, nothing rubbery or overcooked and a broth that told of good time spent reducing and layering.

I'm not usually a dessert person but I decided that a baklava cheesecake was something I should not walk away from, and oh my goodness I am glad I put in for a rare third course (I had Cretan sausage for starters which were also great). This cheesecake has me in stunned silence, and in spite of pre-ordering a box to take the leftovers home in, it wasn't needed. In fact, I went back there on my way home from a meal at the port, the next evening, to get the cheesecake again for take out. Heaven. Thank you for a wonderful evening ????

Πολυ όμορφο μαγαζί με πολυ προσεγμένο και νόστιμο φαγητό. Βλέπεις το απέραντο γαλάζιο πίσω από μια τζαμαρία και ηρεμεις. Το έχω επισκεφτεί και στο παρελθόν... και πάντα φεύγω ευχαριστημενη από το φαγητό τους.

I wish everyone visiting could get away from the "touristy" area and find this spot. We had a great meal - fresh local fish - with a peaceful beautiful view right at the water. Staff was great and during a quiet Wednesday had it almost to ourselves.

Best place to have a relax lunch or dinner . We came twice during our stay in Chania very nice menu good food very nice people excellent service .
But the view is the best you can get .
I recommend strongly!

Όλα εξαιρετικά. Η ταλιάτα σωστά ψημένη και πολύ καλή ποιότητα.
Περίμενα μεγαλύτερη ποικιλία στην επιλογή κρασιού. Ίσως λόγω εποχής να είναι περιορισμένη.

Spectacular view ???? ????????‍♀️ The salmon parpadelle I ordered tasted great, but it was to little on fish for me???? ???? . I didn't seen desserts on the menue & ordered a hot chocolate, which tasted super great! The service was good & the X-mas ambience was a nice round up????⛄️

Όλα καλά, ωραία θέα, ωραία εξυπηρέτηση αλλά από γεύση οι μπριζόλες άχυρο σκέτο, οι τιμές πολύ τσουχτερές.
Τα σχόλια γίνονται για να γινόμαστε καλύτεροι κι όχι να μη δεχόμαστε μια αρνητική κριτική η οποία μπορεί να μας κάνει καλύτερους, επίσης σας ευχαριστήσαμε για το κέρασμα του κρασιού αλλάμάλλονδεντο θυμόμαστε.
