Situé en face de la mer, dans le quartier de Nea Chora, l'emplacement est idéal. On marche à peine 10 minutes pour rejoindre Hania et le lieu est d'un calme absolu. En soirée, on peut manger dans les tavernes autour et profiter d'une ambiance de bord de mer, familiale et romantique. On n'a qu'à traverser la route pour trouver la plage, ce qui est idéal après une journée d'excursion. Stelisia offre des chambres pour l'un des plus bas prix possibles à Hania en été. Les prestations pourtant sont tout aussi correctes qu'ailleurs, avec des petites terrasses pour certaines chambres, toutes bien équipées (frigo, tv...). Evidemment, c'est un confort basique, sans réel charme, mais cela rend service et puis grâce au quartier, on passe beaucoup de temps à l'extérieur à profiter des vacances.

We stayed at Stelisia Rooms for a week in May 2023.
Check-in takes place in the restaurant on the ground floor.
Stella was kind and helped us organise airport pickup and drop as well (€27 per transit).
LOCATION: located along a beautiful promenade with many restaurants and mini supermarkets and just a minute away from Nea Chora Beach.
It's a 10ish minute walk to the old town via a scenic street along the sea. It felt very safe even late at night.
ROOMS: are basic but good and definitely good value for money.
We had requested for a double room (it's twin beds pushed together) and got 105 which is on the first floor with a beautiful sea facing view.
The room had a fridge, small hair dryer, TV, AC, kettle, and a balcony (with a small clothes stand). Little soap, shower gel/shampoo, and towels were provided too.
The room was cleaned and a fresh set of towels were provided on a daily basis.
It was very peaceful at night and the balcony door did a great job keeping out noise even during the day when the restaurants downstairs had lots of customers.
???? - The shower area is quite small and the shower curtain is too short. It doesn't matter how careful you are, the bathroom will get wet whenever you shower and takes a long time to dry.
This could be improved by installing longer shower curtains.
- While the overall cleanliness was absolutely fine, the daily cleaning could be done with a little more attention to detail (e.g. some hair was left in the bathroom, replenish empty shower gel/soap).
The positives very clearly outweighed the negatives and we were very happy with our stay at Stelisia Rooms.
We'd definitely stay here again during future trips to Chania.????
