Située au cœur de la vieille ville, cette auberge de jeunesse est une vraie aubaine. Très agréable avec sa terrasse commune et sa courette inondée de bougainvillées, elle propose de bons services et l’ambiance y est décontractée. Les lits sont répartis, dans cette maison ancienne en bois rénovée, en dortoirs de 6 ou 8 places. En été, possibilité de dormir sur le toit de la maison, sur un matelas. Les sanitaires récents sont propres, mais l’eau chaude peut être vite épuisée le soir. Une excellente adresse comme on en aimerait plus en Crète…

Après avoir lu les avis , je suis venu j'ai vu j'ai vécu. rien à redire . vraiment super. je recommande à ceux qui recherchent un endroit sympa .

A charming and very clean hostel with warm, welcoming staff for travelers of all ages! Nico, Kosta, and the housekeeping staff were all delightful and went above and beyond in their hospitality.
The hostel is located adjacent to the Old Town, where I enjoyed getting lost among the delicious restaurants, interesting artisan shops, and fascinating architecture and history of Rethymno.
The hostel has a few common areas, two are outdoors where people smoke and/or cook. All the facilities are cleaned throughout the day by housekeeping. There’s a bar at reception and you must buy your own drinking water.
Because I’m a big, tall guy, the only challenge was the beds, which were too narrow and uncomfortable, but ultimately fine for a few nights. You can’t beat the overall value of this hostel to be honest.
I saw Kosta invite a young couple to Stella’s Kitchen. Do have lunch there! Nico helped me with an important personal matter, for which I’m truly grateful!

One star missing because it needs more showers with hot water running at all times. Had to take cold showers multiple times late at night. Also the hostel could officially organize events and outings, most of what I did was organized by fellow guests themselves.
