Situé près des sources, il occupe l’ancien moulin à grains du village qui contenait aussi la presse à olives. Le cadre est plus qu’agréable ! On s’installe à l’ombre salvatrice des vieux platanes et on déguste d'excellentes grillades dorées au feu de bois ou le gamopilafo (à goûter absolument !), la spécialité de la maison (chèvre sauvage accompagnée de riz pilaf) ou encore l'antikrysto (une sorte de méchoui typiquement crétois). Bon choix de mezzés, également.

hello I'm on holiday in Crete. I stopped by to eat here. cold poor food. the meat is for advertising.. Don't go there to eat. Non andate li per mangiare....

While walking towards the entrance I saw a cook turning the meat that's busy roasting around the fire with 2 DIRTY cloths that made my stomach turn. That should have been a sign already to leave. My 2 companions went for a walk about and I sat down and placed my order in the meantime. A bottle filled with water together with 5 slices of toasted bread with a drop of herbed olive oil poured over them that i did not ask for appeared on the table. I ordered cheese balls and fish and chips.
Cheese balls - DRY SALTY AND CHEWY.
Fish & Chips - Waited 45 minutes for this and the chips were cold the fish was so thin and cooked so dry and the salt pot must have fallen over on the fish. I really had no choice but to send it back. The first time ever that I have returned a plate of food. My companions joined me in the meantime and only one person placed an order. When I asked for the bill I was informed " you ate some of your meal but we did not charge you for it" the amount €12.50. I asked for a proper receipt, and the attitudes got worse. As we walked out I noticed another cook was standing outside grilling meat and fish in the open and sending the meat up with a dumbwaiter and it really did not look very hygienic.
