What an incredible experience! I was lucky enough to be taken to dinner at Costes Downtown for my 59th birthday. We were greeted at the door by David, the head sommelier and Adam the bar manager (who is an amazing mixologist!) and they, along with Chef David, would look after us for the evening.

From the custom, signed, menu to the amazing drinks and attention to detail, the evening was a delight! An amuse bouche followed by an eight course tasting menu, paired not with wines but with eight amazing cocktails, were one beautiful creation after another.

As the evening was coming to an end we were invited up to the kitchen to make our own dessert under the guidance of the sweet chef and we got to use the Costes branded aprons which we had been given!

Overall a great experience that I would recommend to anyone who loves great service and food! Thank you Chef David, David, Adam and the whole team for a memorable evening!

Perfekter Abend mit perfektem Essen. Unsere Erwartungen wurden sogar noch übertroffen, großes Kompliment an die Küche. Die Weinbegleitung hat perfekt zu den Speisen gepasst, die Texturen und Geschmäcker der Speisen waren ein Fest für den Gaumen. Großes Kompliment an das gesamte Team, danke für den schönen Abend. Danke Levi und Pebri für den tollen Service.

It was the best evening of our trip. The staff was just amazing and professional. They were our reason to return to Budapest. Thanks to Amelia and Fanny for a service experience at the best level we have ever known.

Wow! What an amazing restaurant with a Marvelous service. Levi and Pebri helped me to choose the perfect cocktail, amazing food recommendations lead to an amazing dinner and I want to show my appreciation for that. Thank you very much! I will come back.

Csodálatos élmény volt. A Costes Downtown már az első pillanattól magával ragadó. Hálás köszönet Molnár Márk séfnek az érezhetően sok-sok gondoskodással, odafigyeléssel, és izgalmas gondolatisággal összeállított fine dining ízélményért. Köszönet Balázsnak és Dávidnak is, akik szintén nagy-nagy figyelemmel biztosították, hogy az este folyamán minden fogást időben és a tökéletes élményben fogyaszthassunk el.

Fantastic night - looked after by David, who was attentive and sociable. We tried his vodka cocktails and can highly recommend his MMDs! The service was top notch, the drinks were great, the venue looks amazing and has a really welcoming vibe. Loved it!

Excellent!!
Very nice experience with beautiful surroundings. Dinner and wine was fantastic - the Wagyu main course was just amazing and definitely worth trying. Service was great and the waiters was very kind, attentive and great company! Thank you for a great evening!

We had such a wonderful experience at Coates Downtown located in Hotel Prestige in Budapest. All 4 of us had the vegan tasting menu and we're blown away. The service of David and Organ made our night very special.

Igazán egyedi élményben volt részünk a Costes Downtown étteremben. A személyzet minden mozdulatukat figyelte, a legapróbb dolgokban is a segítségünkre voltak. Balázs a környezethez illő laza humorával, Dávid pedig megnyerő, jó értelemben vett hanyag eleganciájával tették különlegessé az élményt. Mindketten maximálisan profik voltak, külön élvezet volt hallgatni ahogy az ételek egyes összetevőiről nyilatkoztak. Nehéz kiemelni bármit is az ételek közül, de a konyha ajándékaként hozott borjú keverék igazán különleges volt, illetve a desszertben szórakoztató volt a játék a karfiol és fehércsoki golyókkal, amikből mindkettő ugyanúgy nézett ki és elsőre nem lehetett tudni hogy épp melyiket kóstolja az ember.

Az ételek nagyon finomak és különlegesek voltak. Igazi gasztronómiai élmény volt! Nagyon udvarias és kedves a személyzet (kiemelném Balázst és Kristófot). Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat. 5* minden tekintetben.
